I am now 100% excited for this film if true. I [frick]ing love Jim. I loved his films as a kid and still do.

I couldn't hate on TASM2 if this was true.

Green Goblin is taken but he could be a good Hobgoblin. Also Carnage could work.

Anyways, I'm calling either Cletus (not Carnage) or Quentin Beck (not Mysterio). But I'm leaning more towards Cletus since he filmed in March, which was when they filmed at Ravencroft.

I've been saying for YEARS that Jim Carrey should be Carnage! Not that he will be but I think many people would agree.

@Zeek- Mysterio would be really good for Jim too.

Call it a HUGE stretch but I think if Green Goblin wasn't cast already, Jim would be a good Gobby.

Well if Carnage doesn't kill kids. Kick-Ass is different from Spidey. After all in the KS2 book, we have a scene where they murder little kids and a rape scene.

TASM is still shit but I'm excited with this if true.

I hope he is playing Cassidy! I hope we just get a look of him in he's prison cell at Ravencroft. Just can't see Carnage show up in a spider-man movie without Venom..

I'm sorry, but I HATE Jim Carrey. He was terrible, terrible as the Riddler. And someone wants him to be Joker? No, just no. I don't care that much about Spiderman, but he definitely would not help the film.
