@mercsoul the editing room is where a film can be salvaged. respect the work that goes into the films who all critique so harshly. its not all just the actors and the director and even the writer a film owes its success (or non success) to.

As for next year, I think Winter Solider has great source material, so it's gonna be a contender.

Comparing the quality of Wolverine as some type of watermark for DoFP is like comparing apples and badly directed oranges. X1 and X2 were watchable for what they were, but what they were were not perfect by any means. Then Singer went on to other projects that showed that maybe he had peaked at the Usual Suspects. He has not reached the quality of X2 in every movie he has touched since, and looking at it any other way is denial in it's purest form. DoFP will be a mess, and should I be wrong, I will name my flying pig Wilbur, and keep my frozen goods in hell.

Dear friends who want Fox to give up the rights. It will not happen, please keep that thought to yourself. Or better yet. Write a long hand written letter about the issue and then put it in the trash.

Or perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps, Lauren Donner will be reading this and think "Well, maybe YoungThanos is right. We should just give this huge franchise back"

I'm sorry for the ones not having faith in this film but me personally I enjoyed The Wolverine more than Iron Man.... Matter a fact most fans did too!!! So I believe we might be in for a good X-men days if the past, so haters shut up, the movie hasnt even came out yet, so stop complaining that it sux.

I seem the wolverine a few times already and each viewing it gets better and better. Even that weak final climax starts to becomes bearable to watch.
And c'mon guys we getting a [frick]IN UNRATED Wolverine on DVD, y'all know its going to be badass, with more fight scenes(extended ninja fight), more blood, and some story to the characters.

I thinks it's going to be 12 or 15minutes

Those Marvel trolls have no respect for a franchise that pumped life back into CBMs steady enough to keep pumping till Raimi Spider-Man's huge success. Blade did a lot too. If we never had X1 or X2, we would have never had a Nolan trilogy, FACT. #INSINGERWETRUST

All they see is oh look at Ironman in 2008 blah blah stfu, it all started with Blade, X-Men, Spider-Man, and Batman Begins. Nuff said. Superman the movie and Batman 1989 were the granddaddies but these bad boys were the successors.
