CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Motion Poster Spotted

It's the shield image previously seen on the first teaser poster, but this very cool motion take on it shifts from the classic blue and red color scheme to the new silver/stealth version glimpsed in the recent trailer. Take a look after the jump.

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Samuel L. Jackson, and Robert Redford and will hit theaters April 4, 2014.

Seriously? If you can't tell that that's just his shield with the paint chipped off, then you need to have your eyes checked.

@theLegendLives
Actually the red paint is not chipped off. There's a light blue-ish silver color that was painted over the red and that's what is chipping off, revealing the red underneath.

Nolanite: time to take your night meds and get back to your room. You know the rules, patients must be in their beds at lights out. Tomorrow will be a fun filled day with bingo, water aerobics and bran muffins. If you behave, you may even get to watch some Perry Mason re-runs.

My guess is Steve chips the Red of his shield and drops his title for part of the movie, because he doesn't want to have anything to do with an America that is nothing like the one he left behind (this theme fits with the trailer) and the fact a lot of the trailer and location photos show him out of uniform for quite bit of the movie (probably the whole second act). Whether he just goes off, or if he becomes Nomad, I guess is yet to be seen.
EpitomeofAwesome - 11/18/2013, 9:31 AM
