NOAH is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan (GLADIATOR, HUGO). Scott Franklin and Aronofsky of Protozoa Pictures, along with Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment, will produce the film. The film will be executive produced by Ari Handel (BLACK SWAN), Arnon Milchan of New Regency and Chris Brigham (INCEPTION, ARGO).

Noah is directed by Darren Aronofsky, and stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth and Anthony Hopkins. It hits theaters March 28th, 2014.

-Yeah, but this is SUPER embellished, Mad Maxxed, and historically inaccurate. Noah's story is even from a Biblical perspective a Mesopotamian story, not this white-washed waste-land Earth oddity that Darren Aronofski's conjuring. But he wants to make his own film, I suppose.

Emma Watson, who's smashing that ass?
anthonyEstark - 12/4/2013, 8:04 AM
Yeah, I know the whole story from the Bible, and this certainly isn't it. This is based from a graphic Novel.
Joementum - 12/4/2013, 8:06 AM
I bet this will stray further away from its source material than any CBM

Looks good! Honestly, Aronofsky is the main (and probably only) reason I'm interested in this, don't really have the slightest interest in religious stories, but the trailer for this looks interesting and some beautiful cinematography...really like Russell Crowe too, great actor

I just wish the costumes were the same as the comic book's.

Emma Watson and Jennifer Connelly in the same movie? I'm in.

Wait, Bible is a comic book? Now I'm confused...
Nomis - 12/4/2013, 8:51 AM
@ TheDarkPhoenix - Back in the day, DC comics did a series of Comics that were based on stories from the Bible that was collected in Treasury form.

Let's just live in peace!
MsDarkPhoenixQueenofCBM - 12/4/2013, 9:38 AM
@Nomis You had it?? Tragic!!

This is like 22 years before I was born. You guys are really that old? You must be older than my parents. Well, gusto is older than my great-grandparents. What the [frick] am I doing here??
rabid - 12/4/2013, 9:51 AM
I wish they'd show the giant blue six-armed angels from the graphic novel! I really don't plan on seeing this unless the trailer can prove that the studio didn't turn it into another piece of religious propaganda. At least give us the creepy alien city in the desert.
rabid - 12/4/2013, 9:53 AM
@DarkPhoenix this interpretation is based on a graphic novel that Aranofsky did. It's not actually the classic version of the tale... though rumor is that the studio butchered the hell out of it to make it palatable for the puritans.
mrHJK - 12/4/2013, 9:53 AM
Actually, Aronofsky made the story into a graphic novel first. Now he's adapting it for film.

I've been waiting 6 months on the second half of it. Any word when that's coming out?
pintoman - 12/4/2013, 10:07 AM
Great casting, but I have no desire to support a film that likely makes religious people glow with even greater "belief".

I been in there. Not only is it interesting, there's a bar at the top of a big pole that rotates really slowly. It's impossible to slip, the floor moves with you!

Damn I never knew Emma Watson had an ass like that. I need to watch The Bling Ring now.
Nomis - 12/4/2013, 3:17 PM
TheDarkPhoenix - LOL!!!
MightyZeus - 12/5/2013, 2:19 AM
Emma Watson is the only good thing about this film.
