Robert Knepper Also Joins THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY As A New Character

Earlier on we revealed that the Prison Break actor would play the Clock King in Arrow, now it seems he'll also appear in the third and fourth Hunger Games movies as a character that was not in the book, 'Antonius'.

Mr Knepper certainly doesn't seem to have a problem being typecast anyway. He's not only added the Clock King to his resume of villains, but he's also signed on to play an evil minister named Antonius who's aligned with President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay parts 1 and 2.

I wonder what purpose he serves... they've cut quite a lot of characters out of the Hunger Games films, only to add this random one.

Okay, I'm gonna guess that he either has something to do with the military/peacekeepers of the Capital, or, more likely in my opinion, he is the one in charge of torturing the victors who were captured, including Peeta. Since the books are from Katniss's point of view, such a character would not have been included.

I don't understand why he could not play someone from the book instead? I really think he is a great actor. Whatever he is in he is the highlight. He was great in Stargate and of course Prison Break. But I want to see him do something out of his element like playing the good guy for once. That would be interesting for him to do.

As much as I am happy he will be joining Arrow I just feel like that means he can't play the Joker. I could see him going crazy with that character. I just hope with him being on Arrow he will be on more then just one episode. Because it would be a waste to use him for just one episode.

Yepp.I've posted a picture of him with joker's make up and yes,he looks like the joker from arkham games.he also got the voice of joker and I believe,he can bring the joker just like heath ledger did.

this one of the few times that i hope they deviate a lot from the source.. coz man, that 3rd book sucked.. it was like it was from a whole other author or something..

I really think he will be a good TV version of the Joker but I have doubts he can make a good one in a movie.. I could be wrong anyway

Some sites claim that he is Snow's prime minister. I believe that he is for sure someone from Capitol (only Capitol citizens have Roman names) and he is either connected to Snow or he is one of the torturers. He is obviously going to play a bad guy.
