THOR THE DARK WORLD (FEATURE WITH AUDIO COMMENTARY)

Will "All Hail The King" feature the return of Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin Trevor? We know he's filmed something for one of these Marvel shorts, but that title doesn't really offer up any hints one way or the other..aside from possibly alluding to the ending of Thor: The Dark World. Anyway, we'll find out soon enough when the movie hits Blu-ray and DVD in the US on February 25th. There's no UK release date yet, but it'll likely be around the same time.

Ooooo great find! I wonder why they didn't just make an extended cut? I hate having to go bs'n and watch specific scenes after the movie's over. I loved that "Loki: The First Avenger" scene. I kept hearing people talk about a cap cameo but I had no idea at all it was going to be portrayed in that manner. lol

I too also hope that the "All Hail the King" One Shot clears things up! My last favorite One Shot was the explanation of the Abomination and why Tony confronted General Ross about putting a team together.
TheRationalNerd - 1/2/2014, 6:46 AM
I wonder when it'll release on DVD/Blu-Ray? I'd probably say March?? I have a full collection of Phase 1 and 2 movies on Bluray and I'm dying to add more to that collection. lol
luffycapri - 1/2/2014, 6:52 AM
Special features suck

KraftB0X - 1/2/2014, 6:52 AM
I usually don't care about extra features but a deleted or extended "Loki: The First Avenger"? Yes, please!!!
Lozzy - 1/2/2014, 6:54 AM
'Marvel One-Shot: All hail the king'

Hmmm sounds interesting.
Alphadog - 1/2/2014, 7:01 AM
Yeah! This will probably explain where Odin is and show a bit of what Loki is doing. Don't expect a lot of hints for Thor 3 though.
Spidey10 - 1/2/2014, 7:11 AM
The Marvel one shots are always well done itll be interesting to see what relevance trevor has in the MCU since he was nothiing more than a pawn in IM3
GinjaNinja - 1/2/2014, 7:14 AM
Is there a leaked one shot of the IM3 one? I got the film for DVD and really want to see the one shot without having to spend 20 bucks on a movie I already have
StarkAnthony - 1/2/2014, 7:14 AM
Where are Malekith's extended and deleted scenes? Is it just that dark elves prepare for battle scene? From what I've seen and heard, quite a bit of Malekith got cut. Didn't Eccleston say something about Malekith's family in an interview?
McNyagano - 1/2/2014, 7:20 AM
That's a lot of Malekith and the Dark Elves deleted scenes. Nice find btw.
superotherside - 1/2/2014, 7:24 AM
I'm wondering if it's a cover up since everyone found out it was about Trevor.

Perhaps they'll release it sometime later? Perhaps on the Winter Soldier DVD?
GinjaNinja - 1/2/2014, 7:26 AM
Don't see why they didn't leave in any and all Malekith/Dark Elves scenes. The film was short enough, and they could have used more screen time.
CoulsonLives - 1/2/2014, 7:39 AM
I honestly wanted the film to be longer!
MexicanSuperman - 1/2/2014, 7:42 AM
@TheBlackNerd, I got all the mcu movies on bluray as well. I hope one day Marvel releases an extended cut for The Incredible Hulk and Thor The Dark World.
DrDoom - 1/2/2014, 7:44 AM
There really needs to be an option on all Blu-Rays to pick and choose which deleted/extended scenes you want to splice into the movie. Basically, edit your own version of the film. I know plenty of movies that would really benefit from having their deleted scenes kept in.
GuardianAngel - 1/2/2014, 7:46 AM
@TheBlackNerd

February 25th in the US.
MexicanSuperman - 1/2/2014, 7:47 AM
@dougieisrollingthejays, it should be. I think it's time for you to upgrade to bluray my friend.
@black and yellow, that is the most retarded name ever. Parenting fail right there.
KraftB0X - 1/2/2014, 7:47 AM
All Hail The King? My bet... Trevor is no longer in prison and now impersonating Elvis.
DefcoN - 1/2/2014, 7:49 AM
Cool, but I'd like Marvel to release an extended/director's cut from this movie.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/2/2014, 7:53 AM
Well when iron man 3 was all said and done I posted on a thread a long time ago saying they can call the real mandarin "The King Who bears Many Names". All Hail the King one shot hopefully is the idea I was thinking of awhile ago.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/2/2014, 7:57 AM
And guys remember this isnt the final edition if this Thor sequel. Remember what the Phase 1 bluray set contained!?!? We might have to pay a bit more for extras that we want. Phase 2 bluray set will be loaded with goodies. Just wait and see. I do with for a directors cut early though.
GinjaNinja - 1/2/2014, 8:00 AM
@Mexican I recently did buy a Bluray player. But Its just a pain to start rebuying films. Since I can watch the film on DVD with the bluray player I don't feel like buying it. I will get it though if they make another blueray collectors eddition like with phase 1.
SpiderFraud - 1/2/2014, 8:00 AM
Is Malekith going to get the shaft in the deleted scenes department also? I swear if the Trevor one shot is some type of comedy bull crap and not him being some type of bad guy master mind I will be pissed. Marvel be dropping the ball a little to much for me.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/2/2014, 8:01 AM
*of ^

*wish ^
dmm5 - 1/2/2014, 8:06 AM
They could have cut out the Darcy/intern scenes or those two characters out in general and use all that time to really build Malekith and the Dark Elves. Maybe even that love triangle that was hinted and teased but never went anywhere...
ibravosp5 - 1/2/2014, 8:06 AM
Some of these make me excited. I'll watch em
GliderMan - 1/2/2014, 8:08 AM
All hail Trevor Slattery.
MexicanSuperman - 1/2/2014, 8:08 AM
@dougieisrollingthejays, oh ok. I'm sure upgrading is pain. Good thing I never had a big dvd collection when I got my bluray player.
RexDartEskimoSpy - 1/2/2014, 8:09 AM
I look forward to the inevitable "director's cut" fan edit.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/2/2014, 8:09 AM
@dougie there is nothing better than the glory of bluray man. I suggest all future purchases of movies should be blurays. They are practically the same price as dvds now.

@bustAspideyMove dropping the ball lately??? Mandarin twist and more screen time for malekith is all that needed fixing or adding.

ibravosp5 - 1/2/2014, 8:09 AM
And I don't think the all hail the king one will deal with the mandarin. This seems more like Odin being king
DanMcNice - 1/2/2014, 8:12 AM
Can't wait for the BD, this was my favourite CBM of the year :)
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/2/2014, 8:15 AM
@ibravosp5 have kept up on the news around here? Ben Kingsley already said he filmed a one shot for marvel awhile back. This one shot has something to do with the mandarin twist.
Havok2 - 1/2/2014, 8:19 AM
Wouldn't it be awesome if it was a short dedicated to Black Panther or Black Bolt?
BatManiac - 1/2/2014, 8:21 AM
It would be extremely awesome if the short was dedicated to Black Bolt, but if I'm right, didn't Marvel Studios confirm that the short will be about Trevor?
CapitanAmerika2 - 1/2/2014, 8:21 AM
Well I am definitely getting it since it is going to be released 5 days after my birthday.
SpiderFraud - 1/2/2014, 8:23 AM
@TheRemy

They been dropping the ball because they been making mediocre superhero movies when they should be making great ones. They are leading the superhero movie industry in the golden era of superhero films but all it is are people sipping the hype machine. Mandarin twist/Malekith are the last things that make me say they are dropping the ball. In my opinion of course.
DEVLIN712 - 1/2/2014, 8:31 AM
Good to see Gusto isn't dead
DEVLIN712 - 1/2/2014, 8:35 AM
The one shot:
>SHIELD come to interrogate Trevor
>Trevor does the whole "Trevor, Trevor Slately, I'm an actor" show.
>We find out something a about AIM
>Possibly mention Baron Von Strucker
>SHIELD get up and leave
>"Trevor" does a laugh in the real Mandarin's voice
>"All hail the King" he says
>Spark-like light can be seen jumping from the rings.
>Cut to black

Sign me up Fiege, I ain't busy
