We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, and Sally Field, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to hit theaters on May 2, 2014.

I hate when super hero movies get close to release because the studios be dropping insane amount of footage.
LeonardKnows - 2/22/2014, 12:47 PM
STOP IT SONY! You are terrible at marketing...
MrCBM56 - 2/22/2014, 12:49 PM
Ok...maybe they should slow it down a bit.
rebellion - 2/22/2014, 12:51 PM

JoJo1982 - 2/22/2014, 12:52 PM

***looks at xmen dofp***
GizmoEl - 2/22/2014, 12:52 PM
The third trailer didn't show any new footage right? Just recycled footage from the sizzle reel. As long as it doesn't spoil the movie or include too many new scenes it'd be cool. We still haven't gotten a proper look at rhino
caroldanvers - 2/22/2014, 12:52 PM
I LIKED THE OLD SUIT BETTER
there, i said it, i feel better now

i still can't wait for this movie though
erth2drew - 2/22/2014, 12:52 PM
I saw it attached to the robocop movie its awesome!!!!!!!
rahavens - 2/22/2014, 12:53 PM
It will probably be the trailer that was released last week, then taken down after a couple hours. The trailer didn't give anything new away, just recycled clips from the other two trailers, so this is okay.
Bekss - 2/22/2014, 12:54 PM
They have already revealed the whole story.
They have show us the origin of elektro, all the cameos, the death of Gwen, the horrible Green Goblin. What they can show us now? All about Rhino?
superherofan21 - 2/22/2014, 12:55 PM
Maybe it has something to do with the video game instead?
SpiderFraud - 2/22/2014, 12:55 PM
I personally seen enough, so I'm skipping out on this new footage.
TheAbomination - 2/22/2014, 12:56 PM
It seems like Sony is trying to shove this movie down our throats.
Pheezmatic - 2/22/2014, 12:57 PM
meh...i can wait for this movie...im thinking of skipping this trailer entirely this way it doesn't ruin anymore of the plot of the movie for me...I feel like most plots and twists to this movie have already been revealed.
JordanKing - 2/22/2014, 12:59 PM
Okay, it's getting silly now. Would this be their 5th unique trailer or something like that?
SpiderFraud - 2/22/2014, 12:59 PM
@Pheez

I wish they would have kept Green Goblin a secret. That would have blown my mind if he popped up in the movie unexpected.

Ramiel - 2/22/2014, 1:06 PM
Yet, still no X-Men trailer.

Marketing is more than trailers. X-Men DOFP have been doing great marketing. I'm positive we're getting a trailer at the end of this month or early March.

Meanwhile the marketing for this movie is a tad bit much. I'm surprised we haven't got clips yet.
Holmes - 2/22/2014, 1:14 PM
How many [frick]ing trailers, posters, behind the scenes, banners, concept art shit are we getting for this? honestly, does anyone else see what im saying? its like theres something new on here everyday about the amazing spiderman 2. i feel like ive seen the whole movie. they can stop, i saw the first one and enjoyed it, ill see the second one, i dont need all this marketing.
Holmes - 2/22/2014, 1:16 PM
and BTW wheres my mother [frick]ing second Godzilla trailer at?!
dethpillow - 2/22/2014, 1:18 PM
my god. we don't need another trailer now.

keep your pants on, Sony. jeez. calm down. what's the problem? don't put out anything right now, don't worry about it.
Highflyer - 2/22/2014, 1:19 PM
Please don't show too much.
dethpillow - 2/22/2014, 1:21 PM
@Bekss - i haven't seen Gwen's death yet. i don't think anything is pointing towards her death. whatever clothes she's wearing or not.

what do you think specifically is pointing towards her death?
Bigred20 - 2/22/2014, 1:21 PM
the thing im looking forward to the most is seeing the rhino suit in action
breakUbatman - 2/22/2014, 1:30 PM
TASM 2: The All Told Story
CaptainAmerica31 - 2/22/2014, 1:32 PM
Sony needs to stop [frick]ing releasing trailers and footage. Jesus [frick]ing Christ
MrMartinMarvel - 2/22/2014, 1:35 PM
Ok Sony you can stop now! You've already promoted the [frick] out of this, we don't need to see any more.
Ranger14 - 2/22/2014, 1:36 PM
Unfortunately, a lot of modern day trailers give away too much. Most action films will show a few brief scenes from the final "showdown" scene, which I prefer to know nothing about until I actually see the film.
Jer3miah - 2/22/2014, 1:36 PM
Ugh, Sony will blow their own legs off while trying not to.
TheRealistStarLord - 2/22/2014, 1:42 PM
The more they release the trailers, the more the spoilers. Like wtf..
DrDoom - 2/22/2014, 1:43 PM
In two days . . . . the film gets cancelled.

A despot can dream.
fanboy03191 - 2/22/2014, 1:48 PM
The sizzle reel was a superbowl special. This is a final theatrical trailer. Perfectly common.
Holmes - 2/22/2014, 1:56 PM
@fanboy this much marketing for a movie is not common, the trailers maybe, but sony is going overboard
CaptainAmerica31 - 2/22/2014, 1:59 PM
@fanboy we got a new trailer last week
CaptainAmerica31 - 2/22/2014, 2:00 PM
DrDoom, this is isn't spiderman 4
MercwithMouth - 2/22/2014, 2:04 PM
So sad... Everyone thinking sony is doing something wrong. Guys like us may think we've seen too much, but a lot of that stems from our fanatical analyzing of every bit of info that comes out on movies. The general public has no clue what they've been shown, they don't know Gwen might die, they don't know that Harry is the Goblin, they don't know what the Rhino is. Sony is marketing to the GA, not us. Remember that.
MercwithMouth - 2/22/2014, 2:14 PM
@Anno

Not at all. But for the most part, the GA doesn't care like we do. They haven't seen all the pics and banners that we have, they likely have no idea how many trailers have been released. They see a trailer on tv, cool. They see a longer one at the theatre, even cooler. It literally is just us that thinks it's too much. We're the only ones that know Gwen's outfit foreshadows her death. The only people that know that Harry could be the Goblin have read the comics. A lot might not even know that Rhino is a Rhino.
Highflyer - 2/22/2014, 2:17 PM
i can't believe i'm saying this but this upcoming trailer is the first trailer that I'm hoping recycles previous footage from the previous trailers.
Ranger14 - 2/22/2014, 2:22 PM
It's not just CBMs that giveaway too much. For example, I remember watching the trailer for Sherlock Holmes thinking...well there's the final confrontation scene. Sure enough...it was the final confrontation scene. The majority of trailers are so formulaic in the content and how much they show now that it doesn't take a genius to foresee what is going to happen a lot of the time.
