Marc Webb Confirmed To Direct THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3

It's probably not that much of a surprise, but in their article on why they feel Sony could use more movie franchises, Variety confirm that director Marc Webb will return to helm the third movie in Sony's rebooted Spider-Man series. Click on for more details.

Variety have posted an article on Sony Pictures, and how they feel the studio are dragging their feet when it comes to developing new movie franchises like many of their rivals. But of course one big franchise they do have is The Amazing Spider-Man, and we now know that they will be taking a page out of Marvel's (comic) book and expanding that universe to include The Sinister Six and Venom - in fact Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal reveals a plan that's even more ambitious than we previously thought. "We are expanding the universe so that we have 'Spider-Man' movies every year," she tells Variety. Of course, there will also be a third (and most likely fourth) Amazing Spider-Man flick, and the site confirm that Marc Webb will be returning to complete his trilogy. The third pic is dated for release in June 2016, and has Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Jeff Pinkner on board as writers. More at the link below.

How long until SotoJuiceMan and Anno Domini go to where Levitikuz went? How what they do isn't any worse than creepy porn?
Nomis - 2/25/2014, 11:23 AM
Say what you will about the look of Electro (bad), Rhino (hideous), Goblin (The Worst) the new (old) suit for Spiderman is on point!

Look like he came right our a comic book panel! Reminds me of how John Byrne drew Spiderman.

I mean, the news that Marc Webb will be back for the sequel is great and all, but what they do in EVERY single The Amazing Spider-Man 2 article is trolling, and it's as annoying as what Levitikuz used to do here.

First movie is great. Second one looks really good (villain looks are good). I love the idea of Webb coming back for the third. He (along with the writers of course) make the drama interesting while giving it weight and heart needed that makes for emotional moments and great character moments. Can't wait for May!

Levi got banned for getting into a fight with Josh Wilding.
MrSotoMan - 2/25/2014, 11:31 AM
@Zauri- How long before you hit puberty?
MrSotoMan - 2/25/2014, 11:33 AM
@Zauri- Lmao, you feel trolling on a comment section is worse than creepy porn?

Not going to begin to know what you watch anymore.
DraculaX - 2/25/2014, 11:33 AM
Levi took the fight to Josh Wilding.....And lost.
SpiderMiles - 2/25/2014, 11:38 AM

MrSotoMan - 2/25/2014, 11:41 AM
How is Levi BTW?
MrSotoMan - 2/25/2014, 11:46 AM
I actually don't remember how Levi got banned or what exact article he started the fight to Wilding.

I will judge this announcement when TASM2 is released. While the first one didn't seem anything special to me, this one looks miles better and cooler. Really hyped about it.
TheMexicanSuperman - 2/25/2014, 11:52 AM
Good.
TheMexicanSuperman - 2/25/2014, 11:53 AM
@Pasto, so he got banned for a "fight" on the internet? What were they arguing about?
bluedude - 2/25/2014, 11:54 AM
eh meh puh
MrSotoMan - 2/25/2014, 11:54 AM
@MexicanSuperman- Exactly I wanna see this article on where it happened.

@JoshWilding- Thoughts, comments?
bluedude - 2/25/2014, 11:56 AM
it really is disgusting when people post perverse stuff
on a superhero centric site
do you not see the irony or anything its just contradictory
jimoakley666 - 2/25/2014, 11:56 AM
Pics look very cool. I'd imagine that first one is some kinda costume contest and the contestants think Spidey is one of them is fancy dress until fan meets shit.

Great news that Web is stickin' around.
Indy - 2/25/2014, 11:59 AM

Anyone remember when Jim Carrey was spotted on set? There's still nothing on that. What about Jim Carrey as Morbius? I watched once bitten, and while it was a comedy and really funny, I saw the dance scen and thought he looked like 90s Morbius

HUUUUUM SALAD

MrSotoMan - 2/25/2014, 12:11 PM
Jim Carrey was probably just in New York and saw them filming, I doubt it was a scene that he intended to film.

If it is, I doubt it is a character.
CaptainObvious - 2/25/2014, 12:14 PM
A Spider-Man movie every year. I'm sure people will never get tired of that.

I can see why Sony will never let go of Spider-Man. Outside of him, they have no other franchise to bank on.
charlie2094 - 2/25/2014, 12:14 PM
Did kind of assume this...I mean, when you build up to something in a series, like the Sinister Six, would probably suck to not have any sort of pay off.

Did a great job with TASM, and TASM2 looks great, so glad it's official at least
TheClemster - 2/25/2014, 12:14 PM
EXTREME CHICKEN???

got it :)
