aRandomSinisterClone - 3/12/2014, 7:52 PM

BlackWarrior - 3/12/2014, 7:53 PM
Yes it is
MrXer0 - 3/12/2014, 7:55 PM
Yep that's Jesse L. Martin. Seeing him playing a cop reminds me of L&O's good ol' days with Briscoe.

R.I.P. Lennie Briscoe.
SuperCat - 3/12/2014, 8:10 PM
Still watch the older episodes of "Law & Order" with Jesse. Glad he's on this show.
ALmazing - 3/12/2014, 8:12 PM
I second Mr MrXer0's sentiment.
batesmotel - 3/12/2014, 8:13 PM
Hipster? I see no beard
Super12 - 3/12/2014, 8:23 PM
You clearly have no idea what a hipster is.

Can't wait to see this!
thewonderer - 3/12/2014, 8:28 PM
Itcamefromplanetearth went full retard.

Grant Gustin IS Barry Allen and The Flash in his personality and good-heartedness. Can't wait.
RorMachine - 3/12/2014, 8:31 PM
Yeah I'm not getting a hipster vibe. He looks like a regular douche-nozzle:)
jimdotbeep - 3/12/2014, 8:32 PM
The guy in the trench coat looks more like Barry Allen then the guy playing Barry Allen.
soforizo - 3/12/2014, 8:32 PM
Isn't one of them guys from Person of Interest?

Nice cast!
RaleighAntrobus - 3/12/2014, 8:34 PM
I thought Barry Allen was blonde... Gustin looks better suited to play Kid Flash than the Scarlet Speedster himself.
Fastestmanalive - 3/12/2014, 8:35 PM
Is that other cop Captain Frye?
Monitorearthprime - 3/12/2014, 8:39 PM
it is funny, we get to see images from Flash & Constantine but no images from Superman/Batman.

The supporting cast for this show is great! I wish they brought an experienced writer in the cop drama genre to help that part of the show.
RorMachine - 3/12/2014, 8:54 PM
itCameFromPlanetEarth, are you actively trying to get banned?
NetmanTripleSec - 3/12/2014, 8:56 PM
This is what THE FLASH costume should look like:

Something like this is what I hope Gustin's Flash suit evolves into over the show.
soforizo - 3/12/2014, 9:09 PM
@itCameFromPlanetEarth

So you went all the way down to the gutter I see.
RaleighAntrobus - 3/12/2014, 9:09 PM
I'm hoping Gustin evolves into some muscle... I'm all for Barry Allen starting out young but I'm just not seeing it. Marvel at least dyed Evans' hair blonde outta respect and likeness to Steve Rogers.
RorMachine - 3/12/2014, 9:23 PM
Grant Gustin is...Christopher Wico.
soforizo - 3/12/2014, 9:44 PM
The guy with the drink is Al Sapienza playing the role of Detective Fred Chyre. Sapienza is more known from The Sopranos, Person of Interest and a lot of other shows). Since he is currently in a boatload of ongoing projects, I suspect that this will be a very small role. Hopefully he'll be a recurring character.
blackandyellow - 3/12/2014, 9:57 PM
I hate paisley ties. That short guy has one of the ugliest ties I've ever seen.
Lhornbk - 3/12/2014, 10:00 PM
Wow there are some idiots commenting in this thread. Gustin is great so far as Allen. I've said this before, he actually made me interested in the Flash, and I never cared much about the character before this. The suit looks good, and no, Gustin doesn't have to be blonde to play Flash. The idea that the actor has to be a mirror copy of the way the character looks in the comic is just stupid, especially for a character who wears a helmet so that you don't see the hair anyway.
MrStarLord - 3/12/2014, 10:15 PM
@IamnotYou You really Arrow has bad ratings or at least that is how your comment
is worded. But please tell me where Arrow has SUCH bad ratings.
sameoldthing - 3/12/2014, 10:20 PM
They screwed up the color of his costume.
Gustin looks decent in costume..Good design,Bad color sceme.
Hope the acting writing is solid.
MericawithanM - 3/12/2014, 10:25 PM
the costume is not ideal but i can't imagine how hard it would be to design one for a show like this and then having to deal with higher ups approving it, etc. I think it looks just fine and I am excited for this show.
soforizo - 3/12/2014, 11:07 PM
@1984

I'm not gonna lower myself to his level. Take it as you will.

One of em looks like Michael Keaton
AsgardianHobo - 3/13/2014, 1:16 AM
law and order dude, cool
mgeoff88 - 3/13/2014, 1:32 AM
Crime show + Superpowers = The Flash

@Ror Didn't you see that interview about the show with someone from the wardrobe department?

They said the style they are going for with Barry Allen's clothes is douche-nozzle. ;P

Some people don't even know what a hipster is. That is geek chic. He looks good.
SaxoWolf - 3/13/2014, 2:35 AM
Mikey Palmice represent!
Zordan - 3/13/2014, 2:43 AM
Mikey P!
soforizo - 3/13/2014, 5:17 AM
@mgeoff88

He's just trolling. Barry is dressed good for the role.

Aside some minor gripes I have with the costume, the crime + superpowers sound great to me. Hopefully that crime aspect of it is written well enough. At least they got the right actors for the role, it now falls on the writers to get it right.
JediPhilosopher - 3/13/2014, 7:22 AM
NetmanTripleSec, I 100% agree. If that were the Flash costume, I'd definitely watch the show and feel like CW has finally decided to stop sucking. What they did instead is the same thing they always do: Make it dark.
JediPhilosopher - 3/13/2014, 7:29 AM
The old show was cheesy, but it was the script, not the costume design. It probably would have looked even better with a little less padding.
grifdeadpoolteabag - 3/13/2014, 8:51 AM
Consider this, because hipsterism is the single most evil philosophy ever conceived by man:

1. Allen is neat, shaved, and wearing new, clean clothes.
2. Allen has a job and one outside of the service industry or sales
3. Allen does not seem to play (poorly) a musical instrument, fancy himself a "photographer," or carry around a book of bad poems, drawings, of both

Ergo, my experienced opinion tells that hipster no, yupster yes. Neo-nerdo-geeko yes.

It's OK, you can still watch.
musicsuperhero1 - 3/13/2014, 10:12 AM
Wasn't Ernie Hudson going to be in this?
