Channing Tatum Takes Mila Kunis For A Ride In First Clip From JUPITER ASCENDING

Channing Tatum Takes Mila Kunis For A Ride In First Clip From JUPITER ASCENDING Channing Tatum Takes Mila Kunis For A Ride In First Clip From JUPITER ASCENDING

The very first clip from Matrix directors Andy and Lana Wachowski's upcoming sci-fi flick has hit, and features Tatum's albino wolfman explaining the finer points of gravity boots to Mila Kunis' character. I'm not gonna beat around the bush here; this looks [frick]ing terrible.

Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star in "Jupiter Ascending," an original science fiction epic adventure from filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski. Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos. From the streets of Chicago to far flung galaxies whirling through space, "Jupiter Ascending" is written and directed by the Wachowskis.

Jupiter Ascending opens on July 18th.

This does look like this year's big box office bomb though. If WB has a 2nd for the year would it urge them to make more CBMs or would it make them more cautious?

I will have to get used to Channing Tatum playing an intelligent person. Not that he is not in real life, it's just the characters I have seen him portray never are.

The Wachowskis haven't made anything interesting since the first Matrix, which they stole from Grant Morrison.
Had they continued to steal his ideas I bet the next two Matrix films would have been good.

wtf was this? dumb damsel in distress stereotype character, male savior who says things as if theyre no big deal. feels like thor and jane fosters relationship. that was just bad. maybe the movie overall will be good. but that one clip sucked.

@pointman: Uwe Boll iirc funds his own films and Micheal Bay at least knows how to make blockbusters but how people like M. Night Shamlayadingdong, Wachowski's, Brett Ratner and even Bryan Singer (to an extent) are allowed to fail so much has always be a mystery to me.

The Wachowski's still make great movies, better than Bay's films.
Whether their movies do good or bad at the box office is a different subject.

I will always take a Wachowski film over a Bay's film.
