Who is PEGGY CARTER? Peggy Carter is the former girlfriend of Captain America, and Aunt to Sharon Carter. She fought in WWII as an American agent with the French Resistance. She was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and made her comic debut in Tales of Suspense #77 (May 1966)
First Appearance Margaret ("Peggy") Carter is the daughter of two wealthy Virginians. Peggy was idealistically dedicated to ending Nazi oppression and therefore joined the French Resistance while she was still a teenager.
She proved to be a valiant and highly capable agent with the Resistance and served on several Resistance operations alongside the hero Captain America. Peggy and Captain America fell in love with each other. However, they were separated because of different mission orders.
She would later get amnesia from shock when a shell exploded near her. She was brought back to her parents’ home where she slowly recovered, but hearing that Captain America sacrificed his life caused her much distress.
Her niece Sharon Carter will occasionally visit her, and she would tell her about her old war stories. These stories would inspire her niece to follow on her footstep.
Peggy's niece would eventually become a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and would meet and also fall in love with the revived Captain America. She regularly visits her aunt in a nursing home now suffering Alzheimer's disease due to old age.
There were even times that Captain America will join Sharon in visiting his old flame.

HAYLEY ATWELL Hayley Atwell plays Peggy in the 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger. She is a British soldier, who is a part of operation rebirth. She accompanied Captain America in several of his missions.

She has standard military training and is handy with a gun. She is also a competent spy and detective.

If I have not, please be patient, I will get on it as soon as possible (but consider the fact that I spend hours writing one of these articles). Try to limit your request to characters that already have been adapted to live media, so that the feature will at least be relevant to the site – Comic Book Movie(though I include TV characters). Characters in Manga or Anime’, I am not particularly familiar of, I am not discounting these characters but it will probably take some time before I write a feature on them because I have to read up on these characters.
