Looks great to me! Also can't wait for the Justice Society eps! Probably will end up be the best episodes this entire seasono.

hmm ...so jor-el does appear in smallville. in clark's timeline. interesting. and we finally have some costumes in this season. even though clark's is black i really like it. they are on the right track although i don't think they will show welling with the red/blue even in the last episode.

Why don't they just use Terrance Stamp if he is the voice of Jor-El? And souldnt Zod and Jor-el be around the same age? Isnt Sands a lot older than Blue.

why does the s on jor el's tunic look like the s on my t-shirt? I know it's nit picky because jor el does look great even though he and clark should never ever see each other. But I just imagine that kryptonian tech looks better than a silk screen t-shirt.

Ok...this is really disappointing. I could make better outfits in my basement. I have nothing against Sands, but he is no Jor-El, they should have let Stamp play him. I hope these are flashbacks, if not Clark better ask why his dad sounds different. Personally I think they did this because Stamp isn't as tall as most of the cast including Welling, but they could have figured something out like...not do this episode.

I hear this is Welling's last season, making this the final season (I hope). I can't blame him for wanting to quit, its starting to look like a Saturday morning cartoon. I thought the darker image of Superman they were portraying was a neat spin, but if this is where its going its going to suck.

Is it me or is Zod's outfit a black version of the dress uniform from Battlestar Galactica? And are those Navy Seals standing behind Jor-El in the 4th picture...berets? Seriously? I agree with "thwhtGuardian" What's with the "S" shield? They wore glowing robes in the movie and this is the best they could come up with? And before anyone responds with "Well this isn't the movie", they had an episode where they showed images from the movie when Krypton exploded and the Kryptonians falling and the were wearing the glowing robes! So, no continuity!

No Marlon Brando, No Terrance Stamp (Heck, I would have even excepted John Glover, at least he sounded a little like Stamp) then I say NO JOR-EL!!!

You guys are complaining about a modern TV show not staying true to the costumes AND actors from a movie made 30+ years ago, c'mon. Stamp as Jor-els voice is a nice tie in, but with how nit picky some of you are i'm suprised your not bitching about how they are using 1977 Zod for 2009 Jor-El, it makes no sense to me. Enjoy it for what it is, we have a prime time live action comic book TV show, either watch it for what it is or tune in to the [frick]in Vampire Diaries.

Leee777, i was curious as to whether you prefer Brandon Routh for Supes or Tom Welling, and what would be your pick for the next villain in the movies. ;0]

Who says that's Jor-El? That could be any family member from the house of El. Maybe it's uncle Marv-El???

they've said it is jor el niknik. And valeriesghost it's not that it doesn't look like the original movie, it's that it looks cheap. It looks like he's wearing a silk screen robe. I accept clark's shoddy S because he made it himself, but Jor El is from Krypton I think they should have made it look a less like my superman t-shirt. I've enjoyed this season so far, but a living breathing Jor El makes no sense.
