''A Good Day to Die Hard''. That's the name of the upcoming fifth installment of the ''Die Hard'' franchise, set to be directed by John Moore. Bruce Willis will return as John McClane, the New York City Policeman who is always at the wrong place at the wrong time. This time, McClane and his son, John McClane Jr., will be going to Russia, where they'll be involved in a confrontation with local forces and a web of intrigue.

The movie is set for a release date in February 14, 2013. Filming will begin in January 2012. The studio still hasn't decided if the movie will receive a PG-13 or an R rating.

any rumors as to who is playing his son? or who's playing the villain? $10 says the villain is the third Gruber brother.

A good day to die hard? really? Someone got paid money to come up with that...

I thought Live Free or Die Hard was a good action movie, but it didn't feel like a Die Hard movie to me. I hope we get more physical action and less CG effects this time around.

I prefer the DieHard Platinum battery over the DieHard Gold battery. They are a litle more expensive but are well worth it.

Best to worst:

Die Hard
Die Hard 2: Die Harder
Die Hard With A Vengeance
Live Free or Die Hard

Strange, that's the order they were made in.

@Jack
Aw, c'mon, Sutherland! With A Vengeance was way better than Die Harder.

Who you guys like for Jack McClane (Jr.)? First person that says Shia gets a late night visit from the butt hurt patrol.
TheAmarilloBlack - 10/12/2011, 4:39 PM
(though Shia is probably the most possible choice, and does kind of mirror Bruce Willis career-wise, funny guy turned action funny guy)
TheAmarilloBlack - 10/12/2011, 4:43 PM
Ben Foster would be good, they worked together already in Hostage, though.

I hope they get Joseph Gordon-Levitt to play his son. They look similar, and they are both great actors. THe title makes it sound like fun, and releasing it out of the summer season does not surprise me either
