Filmmaker Polaris Banks has made a feature length movie based on the bad-ass, hockey mask wearing vigilante from TMNT. Check out the fairly violent trailer for Casey Jones..

Nice cameo from Raphael there..even if he was using Michelangelo's Nunchuks! Obviously this film won't be available to purchase of catch via screening since Banks does not own the copyright for the character but there is a special screening in Austin TX on August 14th at Marchesa Hall. THEHAWK - 8/9/2011, 8:35 AM
Not gonna lie, my inner child just came a little. Casey was always my favorite.

Pretty good for a fan job
kriswone - 8/9/2011, 8:36 AM
I enjoyed this.
hoodedjester - 8/9/2011, 8:47 AM
That was cool
2Challa - 8/9/2011, 8:48 AM
They need to hurry up and make a live action TMNT movie!
InFamouslyCool - 8/9/2011, 8:48 AM
didn't tell much of a story but it was nice. raphael was the best part.
kidz3r0 - 8/9/2011, 8:49 AM
That was pretty good!
AskaniSon - 8/9/2011, 8:51 AM
You sure that's Raph? The lighting ain't the best so that could've really been Mikey. Even with the lack of dialog, the movements suggest Mikey more. Looked like he was making some jokes or something. Either way, that was awesome.
AskaniSon - 8/9/2011, 8:54 AM
@theWorld

Who said anything about a remake? You can do a new movie based on the same property, it doesn't have to be a remake of an existing film based on it. Classic or no, the Turtles have enough material for several movies. No sense in letting them only have a few from the 90s when there's so much that can still be done with them.
RedHood13 - 8/9/2011, 8:59 AM
I saw that like 3 years ago.
nuck82 - 8/9/2011, 9:12 AM
id be ok if they redid a live action movie, but more dark, like the 1st comics
Optimus1983 - 8/9/2011, 9:20 AM
Not bad at all
THABATMAN - 8/9/2011, 9:20 AM
This one looks good also. except the foot really

savedrockstar - 8/9/2011, 9:38 AM
i approve of the Original Ninja Turtles music in the background!

I agree with the other comments about him seemingly beating up innocent people for no apparent reason. I assume that was not the intent. You most likely have a back story that makes the shots make sense to you, but without letting the audience in on that back story you've made your hero look like a real douche bag. Other than that it was a fairly decent effort. Also too much was reveal to your audience in the fight scenes. They looked like well choreographed stunts, but the sluggish camera work destroyed the illusion. Use tighter shots and extreme angles with sharp contrasting editing and that should clean that up nicely.
hobohaymaker13 - 8/9/2011, 10:25 AM
AWESOME! Love the music, reminded me the old 80's drama/action music with a bit of Grindhouse fitted in.
fistofthenorthstar - 8/9/2011, 10:26 AM
nice, seems like he went with the gritty red bandanna turtles from back in the day! hopefully he posts the whole film on youtube!
Guerillas - 8/9/2011, 10:55 AM
cool!
marvelmark - 8/9/2011, 10:59 AM
would have been better if casey wasn't played by some scrawny little dude tho. he looked kinda weak (especialy doing pull ups lol)
but other than that it had some good moments.
blazingkidtes - 8/9/2011, 11:01 AM
that was kool kind of takes me back
RorMachine - 8/9/2011, 11:09 AM
" though it would make sense for it to be raph as he is the first turtle case meets in the comic and the orginal movie."

Cool. Hope they'll release it on the internet.

I'm really surprised people are debating whether it's Raphael or Michelangelo. I mean, he's obviously using Nunchaku, Michelangelo's weapon of choice. Seeing that scene confused me, as I expected it to be Raphael with his Sais.
SuperDude001 - 8/9/2011, 1:01 PM
It's definitely Mikey, you can see at the end it's certain a orange headband. Although I don't know why, I always thought it was Raph who was the first turtle Casey met but meh.
Okay fan film, a bit confusing and seems more like the attraction is just seeing the guy beat up people.
Bartman87 - 8/9/2011, 1:43 PM
This is just a trailer for a larger film, my take was that he was getting ganged up on by the other hockey players
Jimdlux - 8/9/2011, 1:44 PM
Fight choreography needs some work...but I'd watch it...at least once...
sinchsw - 8/9/2011, 1:45 PM
Some nice moments, but why was he attaching bums halfway through.

@Ror and NightWingNut - in the original comic all of the turtles had red masks. It was Michelangelo!
ChromaCut - 8/9/2011, 3:17 PM
Read the description of the video, it credit's it as Michelangelo
BaneNascent - 8/9/2011, 4:19 PM
Yeah that's Michelangelo with the Chucks. This is a awesome fan film! I don't know why people hate on things like this. They did a good job.
EditNinja - 8/9/2011, 4:29 PM
This just got better as it went along. Excellent.
krzfter - 8/9/2011, 4:59 PM
Wow...I guess I am the only one that think this is lame. Are you actually saying you would watch this in theater? Or are you say it is good for a fan make? Because a lot of people on this site trash trailers better than this.
SKetCH - 8/9/2011, 5:00 PM

This video was definitely posted OVER A YEAR AGO yet I'm just seeing this now?? This was pretty bad ass for a fan made project.
TheApproach253 - 8/9/2011, 5:40 PM
i hate when people say fan made things are always instantly fail....dude people spend time and money and make decent fun films probably for school and projects to build a portfolio....your just some fat kid using his moms IBM cuz youre 12
jjmeylar - 8/9/2011, 7:02 PM
I hate the chucks, but love everything else. I wish that I could see the film.
Kurbbsyde - 8/9/2011, 7:05 PM
Ya know I gotta agree with ya joseph. I personally enjoy searching and watching fanfilms like this because they most likely are student projects and very much are a love for the material. I say good job on this one and yes it is old but it doesn't matter

13Deadpool13 - 8/9/2011, 7:12 PM
@theworld - actually if you read any of the Original comics it was actually very dark. Which i know i would be happy to see put on screen....not that i didn't love the originals, but i want to see the darker turtles, the ones many of us know to be
