Detroit classic rock station 94.7 WCSX had an interesting chat with Clark Gregg who plays fan favorite S.H.I.E.L.D agent Coulson in most of Marvel studios' previous movies and will once again in The Avengers.

In the interview Gregg explains how what was originally just a small role in the first Iron Man evolved into a recurring one as Agent Coulson became the Marvel Cinematic Universe's link to S.H.I.E.L.D. He speaks about working on Thor and both of the Marvel One-Shot's he has appeared in. And of course, most interestingly, reprising the role of Coulson in Joss Whedon's Avengers.
He says he has not seen the CG version of The Hulk yet but saw some renderings that were pretty amazing and things are taken to a whole new level. The interviewer asks about all of the set video that have leaked online and tries to get some info about who those mo-cap suit wearing bad guys might be but of course doesn't get anywhere. But Gregg does reply to a question on whether he had to act against any of the CG villains by saying that Coulson will definitely have more action scenes in The Avengers. There is much more too, be sure to have a listen.
Many thanks to Jim O'Brien from WCSX for letting us know about the interview.
