RESULTS: What Do You Think Of General Zod's New Look For Man Of Steel?

Michael Shannon's black Krytonian duds seem to have pretty much divided opinion on CBM. But what did the poll results show?

It seems that most people are happy with the General's appearance. The majority of you "liked" the suit with 808 Votes (34.27%) but right behind it was the most positive option and 782 (33.16%) of you loved it. The most negative option came in last.






But reading your comments in the article it seems to show most people either love it or completely despise it! Many feel it's far too similar to Superman's outfit while others love it for this very reason. There are also quite a few who feel that it's just not a good look in any way shape or form. But this IS just a very rough look remember and Zod will no doubt sport some other gear too hence the mo-cap suit.

It's the last day of filming in Chicago for Zack Snyder's Man Of Stee as the production heads to Vancouver tomorrow.

aliens that just happen to look identical to humans that come to earth to blend in and all wear the same outfits.

really sounds B movieish

they already have to stick to the human looking aliens why go as far to have the unisex jump suits for all. we don't all wear the human suit, so why the kryptonite suit.

it would just build up a lot more of a convincing atmosphere if they where all varied in look and style, maybe even based on affiliation of kryptonian alliances. just colors is weak.

we don't know that for sure yet (not as far as from what i've read)

and not all militaries from around the world use the same unified suit for combat.

i just wish it didn't look like a spray painted black copy of superman's suit.

@JackDexx exactly, dude. i'll never understand why aliens/from the future = wearing the same thing.

I'd really dig ZOd's suit, if it didn't look exactly like SUperman's. Supes is no military, he shouldn't be wearing military gear. or anything armour like.

@revolver Jor-El wasn't military either. Also, why is it better than Ma Kent and Clark making it?

"Because it's lame to be close to your parents" is not a good reason, btw.

I really like Clark and Ma Kent working on it, since they are, in the beginning, basically the only people he can 100% confide in.

Okay, they already changed the origin and have Superman's 1st outfit Kryptonian in origin, why is everybody upset that Zod's outfit has a similar look (except for color)? If they are going forward with this movie, at least it is staying consistent. When this movie comes out I intend to give it its due, and eat some peanut butter and go watch it. Just so I can come back here and say to everyone "told ya so!"

@Maddmonk still doesn't justify they looking the same. It would if they were going with Donner's cold Krypton. They already said they aren't.

The New Krypton society makes more sense than everyone wearing the same type of outfits.

Can't beat Superman II don't even try!

Pity WB couldn't see beyond Zod, many wonderful Villains out there untouched!

Still Zacky is there an Henry Cavill, if anyone can make this a success, they can!
