The Skrulls? The Kree? Thanos? Lots of rumors and info from sites claiming to know without question who the mysterious threat facing The Avengers will be. Well we have another rumor to add now, but this comes from very reliable source that has been privy to some early story boards from the movie. Keep in mind that things might have changed since and not to take this as Gospel for now, but even so do not read on if you want to remain completely surprised just in case.

Ok, so I am told that in early drafts of the script Loki was to bring his army to Earth via
The Negative Zone. But as this was happening, other creatures from the Negative Zone also followed him through. Said creatures were not named but my source thinks they may have been Skrulls and that..wait for it..
Annihilus was also involved. Now this character is generally thought of as a
Fantastic Four villain but as Marvel fans will know he also tussled with The Avengers on a few occasions.
There are a few more details but I'll leave it at that for now. Keep in mind that although I trust my source completely this could well have been altered since. What do you guys think? Confirm or debunk in the usual place below.
