Androids (or artificial people as they prefer to be called!) have been a staple of the Alien film series since Ridley Scott first memorably introduced Ash (Ian Holm) in his first film. Since then we have had Bishop (Lance Henrickson) and Call (Winowna Ryder), and in Scott's upcoming prequel we meet David (Michael Fassbender).
