Could Jude Law Be Joining Angelina Jolie In MALEFICENT?

Just a rumor for now, but a source for Life & Style Magazine reckons Law has been offered a major role in Disney's upcoming prequel story to Sleeping Beauty..

The rumor mill has churned out Angelina Jolie's Sky Captain & The World Of Tomorrow costar as (possibly) one of the male leads to join her in Disney's Maleficent. "The role has been offered to Jude," a source tells Life & Style. Said role would be that of Stefan, the half human, half fairy father of Aurora, a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty.



The site also says Patrick Stewart may be up for/have been offered the role of King Henry, and Judi Dench and Emma Thompson possibly approached to play Flittle. This is all rumor for now of course. Elle Fanning has also been said to be in talks for the role of Aurora but that hasn't been confirmed.

The live-action film explores the origins of the evil fairy Maleficent and what led her to curse Princess Aurora in Disney’s animated classic Sleeping Beauty. Leading a team of visionary filmmakers known for creating and transporting audiences to new and exciting worlds, Academy Award®-winning production designer Robert Stromberg (Avatar, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and Oz The Great and Powerful) will direct with a script by Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Alice in Wonderland). Maleficent is produced by Joe Roth (Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and Oz The Great and Powerful).


Maleficent has a March 14th, 2014 release date.

When I was younger, I thought this guy was the shit. That was until I saw him picking his nose (more like fisting) in public in some magazine/website...

She's not called beauty for nuthin'.

The actress has to be un-friggin'believably hot!
Has to have a gorgeous face.

Most likely a unknown would work best.

...so the actress playing Aurora's role has to be HOTTER than Jolie!

Why do I keep seeing people wanting a hot as hell Aurora? She's a BEAUTY not a HOTTIE. Two VERY different things.

Also... When she gets cursed she's SIXTEEN. And seeing how this movie takes place before Sleeping Beauty, Aurora will be FIFTEEN.

Would LOVE to see Elle in this, she is gorgeous and was the best part about Super 8. She's in talks to be in a musical by Stuart Murdoch though and I think I'd. Actually rather see her in that, if it came down to it
