I'm actually surprised the guys at Disney didn't think of making a movie about sentient video game character sooner. It's a great idea, and looks to be handled brilliantly here. How many characters did you spot?

The bad-guy character Ralph, in the classic game Fix-It Felix Jr., who longs to be a hero brings trouble to his entire arcade after sneaking into a new first-person shooter game and unleashing a deadly enemy.

Rich Moore is directing Wreck-It Ralph, with John C. Reilly voicing the titular character. Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch and Sarah Silverman all lend support and the movie is slated to hit theaters on November 2nd in 3D.

Awesome! Famous video game villains on the big screen in one movie? Sounds right up my alley.
SpiderFan35 - 6/6/2012, 9:59 AM
Ironically this movie is targeted at kids who will not get most of the game references lol. Oh well, it will be fun for the parents who do remember them.
NerdyGeek - 6/6/2012, 10:00 AM
Movie will probably be fantastic for all gaming geeks, but that trailer was pretty bad, music was atrocious

@Jessepostal: No I think it was Blood Sausage-man in the UK :P
Stumblin - 6/6/2012, 10:37 AM
Yeah grif because that type of story element hasn't happened before Roger Rabbit...

Three Caballeros - 1945
Bedknobs and Broomsticks - 1971
Pete's Dragon - 1977

wilmua777 - 6/6/2012, 10:39 AM
@TurdFergunso Disney failed John Carter doesn't means they goona stop making movie forever.. they will make 1-2 pixar, 2 marvel movies and 6-8 live-action or animated movie in 1 year..

@grif Roger Rabbit was Disney movie under TouchStone banner. Yeah you right about Rip off, studio is the same. TouchStone Pictures is 100% Disney owned studio!

Reminds me of this guy:

All kidding aside, from the looks of the trailer it should be a good kid flick.
ThatOneDude - 6/6/2012, 11:00 AM

AC1 - 6/6/2012, 11:17 AM
pretty much Toy Story but with video game characters? Meh, I'm in.
Spidey91 - 6/6/2012, 11:57 AM
haha awesome!
I went nuts when I saw Bowser next to Robotnik :D
TheAmazingSilver - 6/6/2012, 12:10 PM
Hell yeah! looks very promising, but why are they using Bowser and Dr.Eggman? the rights belongs to Nintendo and Sega. I wonder if disney have made a deal with both companies to use them.
DanteSparda - 6/6/2012, 12:10 PM
@grif "roger rabbit rip off"

Roger Rabbit Upgrade *fixed*

Also I wonder who is that deadly FPS enemy that Ralph unleashes... I hope is Mecha Hitler from Wolfenstein.
Spidey91 - 6/6/2012, 12:16 PM
the cameos alone are worth the ticket!
I wonder if there's good guys in the movie too,you know: Mario,Sonic,Ryu,etc :)
DanteSparda - 6/6/2012, 12:24 PM
This movie needs Sonic and Megaman!
mk - 6/6/2012, 12:34 PM

RobinNumbah6 - 6/6/2012, 12:52 PM
Looks amazing!!
95 - 6/6/2012, 1:01 PM
This fantastic concept reminds me of Monsters Inc. -- this movie looks spectacular.
Rambaldi47 - 6/6/2012, 1:02 PM
It was probably easier for Disney to get the rights to use video game characters than it was for them to get the rights to use Looney Tunes characters like they did in Roger Rabbit. I bet these days WB wouldn't allow it.
Azrael725 - 6/6/2012, 1:04 PM
looks great!
Turtlestrong - 6/6/2012, 1:31 PM
Bowser sitting in the room in the group scene was enough for me. I'm sold!
DoomXfactor - 6/6/2012, 3:04 PM
Zangief, Bison and Cano...I'm in
Ortonito - 6/6/2012, 3:50 PM
