VIDEO: Hitler Reacts To PROMETHEUS

"Who the Hell tries to cuddle an alien cobra"? Ok, you might be sick of the Hitler vids, but we're not - and as long as they keep being funny, we'll keep posting em. Find out what The Führer thinks of Prometheus..

Ridley Scott's Prometheus continues to divide both fans and critics the world over. Now while I really enjoyed the movie and forgave a few of its shortcomings, I will not deny that it did have some big problems. Apparently ol Hitler feels the same and airs his grievances below..

Also, we have the lads from Red Letter Media and their unanswered questions about the movie.

Are they all being too harsh? Can you provide any answers to the questions they ask? Did it hinder your enjoyment of the movie either way?

These are not funny anymore. They haven't been for years.
santoanderson - 6/18/2012, 6:50 PM
I watched the first two Alien movies this weekend, and structurally they are very simple films. Sure they don't explain where the Xenomorph(s) come from or why they do what they do, but who gives a crap -- they're monster movies.

Prometheus, by comparison, felt WAY too much like sequel bait. AKA "Well let's go ahead and put this black goo in this scene, and if people ask, we'll tell them that it will all be explained in movie 3." Don't open plot points you have no intention to close.
sansClaymore - 6/18/2012, 6:54 PM
that is great it hit every question i had lol
let the theories begin!
TheSkywalkingKnight - 6/18/2012, 6:57 PM
The first vid is not funny at all. But, the second is freakin' hilarious.
TankD - 6/18/2012, 6:58 PM
I watched it again yesterday cause when i first saw it i was pretty drunk..but it left a really bad taste in my mouth. BUT i watched it a second time after reading for days interviews and forums and the concept art book and I understood it and took it in more openly I went into it epecting differnt aliens coming from infected people and creating new xenos but We got a monster movie in which the space jokey is the predator or alien type creature and thats what I saw it for. So give it another chance people you just have to have more info to enjoy it...
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 6/18/2012, 7:02 PM
[Frick], love them all. XD
RorMachine - 6/18/2012, 7:02 PM
JackyTimish, you do know that'snot actually Hitler, but an actor playing him in a movie that's had the subtitles changed..right? How would that be offensive to anyone that wasn't a complete yogurt? And if they are yogurts well, we like offending them:)
IronManny819 - 6/18/2012, 7:04 PM
Eh. I personally really enjoyed it, but I can see why some people didn't.
WellDrawn - 6/18/2012, 7:09 PM
A puzzle can be a lot of fun unless you're missing half the pieces.

....Leave it to the Lost Guy.
CaptainMaximum - 6/18/2012, 7:12 PM
JackyTimish is just a troll, he was saying skrillex should score the superman movie.
patriautism - 6/18/2012, 7:16 PM
@JackyTimish I'm Jewish, and I'm not offended..
Why would we be offended by someone using Hitler as a joke? The man WAS a joke.
Now if it were called Elie Weisel reacts, then we might be offended...
bane187 - 6/18/2012, 7:22 PM
Funny
MrDuck - 6/18/2012, 7:25 PM

I liked the Lost joke... Six seasons of pure cock teasing!
DEATHbyEXILE - 6/18/2012, 8:00 PM
Was seriously expecting more from Ridley Scott
theboywonder - 6/18/2012, 8:04 PM
Hahaha Poopmetheus. I liked it but the plot holes bothered me big time.
abuleban - 6/18/2012, 8:09 PM
Here's one Jewish person not offended by the hitler reacts to videos; seriously, are you kidding me?
Caveboy0 - 6/18/2012, 8:18 PM
it didn't divide critics. then RT would be at like a 50%
BIGBMH - 6/18/2012, 8:24 PM
funny video, points out a lot of the problems i had with it. it was long, boring, and really lacked entertainment value. it would be different if the plot was brilliant or the movie was really deep, but it wasn't. it's just mediocre.
OdinsMissingEye - 6/18/2012, 8:24 PM
LOL "who the hell tries to cuddle an alien cobra"
Ghostt - 6/18/2012, 8:48 PM
I have an ad over the subtitles so I could not read them. When I hit the X on the ad the video stopped. DOes this happen to anyone else?
ronnie42 - 6/18/2012, 8:49 PM
Facepalm, whoever made this article needs reporting.

myparentsaredead - 6/18/2012, 8:52 PM
Well, I said it once, and I'll say it again. As a stand-alone, the film works rather well, aside from the occasional dips into generic horror movie-making. The second video captures all of those questions rather well, but, overall, they don't detract from what was a pretty good movie. I just really wish it wasn't relying on Alien and it's potential sequel as far as its story is concerned. And @JackyTimish, please... Stop. Stop, for the love of God. STOP.
kisama - 6/18/2012, 8:54 PM
can't remember which hitler video it was but my all time favorite qoute was "EVEN MY SPERM ARE CRYING!"
jackdawak - 6/18/2012, 8:55 PM
"Poopmetheus"....had me on the floor at that line
coolguy - 6/18/2012, 9:08 PM
Lol sorry but idk how anybody could be offended by this except for nazis. I feel most Jewish people either wouldn't even think twice about it, or just be like yeah hitler sucks.
dahamma - 6/18/2012, 9:14 PM
lol this was funny but sadly, Prometheus didn't live up to the hype, it was actually kinda disappointing. Too bad though, because they had some great actors in there like Elba and Fassbender

@dahamma
I will agree that the hype for this was unrealistically astronomical. I mean, I understood people excitement for Ridley's Scott's return to sci-fi, but given his recent films, did anyone really expect it to be better than Alien?
ralfinader - 6/18/2012, 9:48 PM
Is this video above funny? How the hell should I know, some ad covers the freaking subtitles!

@JackyTimish - Shut the [frick] up hippy. Figure out your own culture and religion and don't assume how others will react, jackass.
TonyChu - 6/18/2012, 9:55 PM
Just saw Prometheus and I give it an 8/10. Charlezie Thereon was so [frick]ing hot in that tight space suit.
myparentsaredead - 6/18/2012, 10:02 PM
@Maximus101
The problem with the unanswered questions in this particular movie is that the whole point of the film WAS to answer questions, particularly those posed by the first Alien. If it didn't have that stigma of being related to those films in the first place, then certain unanswered questions wouldn't have even been something to be concerned about it.

But, hey, to each his own. Like I said, I liked it, probably liked it a lil more the second time I saw it. There's just too much the film refuses to make sense, relying way too much on Alien and it's eventual sequel.
Scabsallover - 6/18/2012, 10:22 PM
I thought it answered the questions I had from Alien just fine. The hologram is the Alien prequel. Everything else was its own movie.
Aeyan - 6/18/2012, 11:26 PM
This is great. It's not about the clip it's about the dialog. Brilliant! He's feel exactly the way I do about this shit of a film. Also, if it takes you three films to answer simple questions that most people had about Alien, then you need to go back to school. This is the year 2012, and most people actually use their heads to think. We don't want 3 freakin' films to answer our questions. We want ONE good freakin' film to fit the bill then have us asking for more. Lucas retires and Ridley takes his place.
BenderdickCumPatch - 6/19/2012, 12:33 AM
Love these Hitler videos
Ceejay - 6/19/2012, 12:59 AM
The most pretentious film of the year! Why would high intelligent beings create us then visit us to tell primitive man where there weapons base is for creating vessels of mass destructive black goo to kill us, then have them put the location on their cave walls?
ACira - 6/19/2012, 2:22 AM
I agree with Hitler... never thought I'd say that :|

@JackyTimish again, everyone on this site is stupider for what you just said.
ACira - 6/19/2012, 2:23 AM
@RamonSuarez I think you just summed up exactly why I was so disappointed with this film. Still, I do think it's better than Avatar... slightly... and I hate Avatar.
jj2112 - 6/19/2012, 3:43 AM
@tea… I love some of the movies by de Funes. Rabbi Jacob was a masterpiece compared to Prometehus.
I’m tired of people who try to defend the movie because “it makes you think” and say that those who didn’t enjoy it are dumb… 2001 did what this movie has done a 1000 times better and was open to interpretation. Prometheus does something different, it tries to include great ideas which are so poorly executed that any interpretation is just lame. Take what the android says to justify the fact that the Engineers tried to kill us: “Any son wants to kill his parents” Where was Lindelof raised, in a cannibal tribe? I sure don’t feel that way about my parents, come on! Not to mention what I’ve read about Scott saying that their attack was triggered 2000 years ago by the Romans crucifying Jesus, who was an Engineer… If that’s true then Lindelof is crazier than I thought!
Gose - 6/19/2012, 4:07 AM
Dan O'Bannon & Ronald Shusett made ALIEN(1979) unnerving .....
BackwardGalaxy - 6/19/2012, 5:30 AM
Once again, RedLetter is spot on.
Watcher - 6/19/2012, 5:50 AM
I agree with RamonSuarez.

Especially the part about the apologists.

Every crappy movie has em. just look at how many people rallied around X-Men snOrigins and X-Men: Fist Ass even after they came out.
ralfinader - 6/19/2012, 6:12 AM
@Juggernaut - shit, they still think X-men: First Ass is a great CBM. At least the people hugging that shit Wolvie movie are fewer and far between.
jj2112 - 6/19/2012, 6:31 AM
That's why the engineers are so pissed...

Watcher - 6/19/2012, 7:37 AM
@ tralfinader: You are correct, sir.

But just watch. I have seen this over and over. As the project evolves into a full blown production and the volume of movie news we get for it increases, the hype machine in favor of it will crank way up. And it's not all FOX nutriders either. A lot of folks just really want to be optimistic and open minded, and that's kinda understandable. Nobody wants to be a "Grif" except Grif lol

When X3 came out I personally lost the ability to be open minded and optimistic about FOX CBMs
DiLusso - 6/19/2012, 8:03 AM
I have a child and I am gutted that I used up a cinema visa to go and watch this movie. Granted MF was very good as David, but damn I should have waited to see spiderman or TDKR twice.
Great effects but shit story. Typical of Ridley Scott and his hit and miss career (anyone watch kingdom of heaven)
HarrisonBergeron - 6/19/2012, 10:23 AM
@welldrawn- that is a great analogy. (Puzzles aren't fun when they are missing pieces)

---

Don't try and use the RT rating to make the movie sound good, take a peak at the rating that RT counts as fresh and tell me they actually say the movie is good. RT is [frick]ing useless. They aren't even consistent, one shit movie will get 56% and be fresh, while another great movie [cough]Taken[/cough] will get a 57% and be rotten.
TurdFergunson - 6/19/2012, 10:43 AM
why is it that when it comes to a big time blockbuster alien sci-fye type movie, the scripts always say or show that the aliens want to kills us and wipe us out but always end up loosing in the end EVEN thou they have way superior technology and weapons?

Someone needs to make a sci-fye alien movie where the aliens win an what they do to us after they win. Yea...that would be awesome.
