Stan Lee's IRON MAN 3 Cameo Revealed

A beauty pageant Judge! Yes, apparently Shane Black's Iron Man 3 will feature a beauty pageant of some description - most likely the Miss Chattanooga Christmas Pageant judging from a recent set pic - at some point in the story. The site report that Lee shot his cameo scenes yesterday, Tuesday July 10th.

Lee made perhaps his most memorable cameo to date in The Amazing Spider-Man in which he appeared as a school janitor listening to music on his headphones, oblivious to the Spidey/Lizard battle raging around him. Before that he was set to appear in a full scene with Chris Evans (Captain America) in The Avengers before it ended up on the cutting room floor. He appears only briefly in a montage at the end of the theatrical cut.

I dunno, I might get blasted for saying this but I think the cameo thing is starting to get old. I realized that when I was watching Avengers. It was awesome beyond words, and I almost forgot it was a comic book movie then Stan Lee came on the news at the end with that cheesy line... I dunno. It kinda pulled me out for a sec. I know that sounds stupid, because of the kind of movie it was, and maybe I'm taking it too seriously but I just thought it was one one kinda embarrassing cheesy ass moment in the movie.

I'd be happy getting rid of them, or limit them to non speaking roles. But hey, that's just the opinion of one bitchy geeky internet loser <-- already did the work for you guys! hahahahaha ;)

Most people watching the movies dont even notice except us anyway. Its kind of a cool nod to him as a creator and us as Marvel fans imo

Bt w/e didnt even care when he wasnt in first class.

I would have to say that the wolverine cameo is the best to date. No one was expecting it and then two simple words cracked me up.

well tough, most people love them, during the Amazing Spider-Man one I heard a couple of people applauding the cameo. they are brilliant, the Marvel movies would not be complete without them. We should enjoy them while we have them, he isnt exactly young anymore. god, people like you have to take the fun out of anything

Stan Lee cameos forever!

I always think of Stan Lee has one character in all the movies so judging by the Marvel Studios movies alone, he went from being a rich hugh heffner type to getting poisoned in his house by infected drink to being mistaken for Larry King at the expo to trying to pull Thors hammer to not believing superheros exist to (and I know its not a marvel studios movie...yet) completely missing a thrilling fight right behind him. wow its great fun being Stan Lee

What if they aren't just cameos? After Coulson's death who else has been seen most of the Marvel Universe movies? What if Stan Lee's cameos were actually setting up the Skrulls? So not only was this guy trying to obtain Mjolnir, he works at Stark Industries? And close enough to touch the Iron Man suits? Sounds like some valuable recon to me.

Totally called Chattanooga being a location yesterday when they announced Hamilton County as a name change for the film shoot. Wonder what will bring the story there. Right now my best guess is that it could in involve Raccoon Mountain, which houses the TVA's largest hydroelectric facility

I was there for a two day shoot as an extra I saw Stan Lee & got to talk to Robert Downy Jr. it was a great moment!

uh, they are complaining that Ror revealed Stan's cameo in TASM, not IM3. Before hurling insults, you should make sure you know what you're insulting people for.

As for revealing the cameo... yeah, it didn't need to be said, but it's been out for almost two weeks now, so you're damn lucky you haven't seen it posted online already, and it doesn't ruin it, but I suggest you see it in 3D... bet it's awesome that way.
