PRESS RELEASE: AvX Storyline & Characters Coming To MARVEL: AVENGERS ALLIANCE

Marvel announced last night at the Marvel Video Games panel at Comic-Con that a new special operations chapter based on the best-selling Avengers vs. X-Men storyline will be coming to the hit Facebook game, Marvel: Avengers Alliance..

Coming this fall, the special operations chapter will include the debut of Magik as a playable character in the game, and new "Phoenix Five" costumes for Cyclops, Colossus, and Emma Frost. The fifth member of the “Phoenix Five” will be unique to the Marvel: Avengers Alliance storyline, and will be revealed to players as they progress through the AvX-related missions. Here are images of the new costumes..

I hope they do a costume change for War Machine. Should make one like it was in Iron Man 2.

So they just announced two new characters. Emma Frost is not currently on the roster. Awesome!

Still waiting for Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, Deadpool, and GotG.

been playing since they started it.. Agree with you Intruder Vision, and to a special connection power when using Scarlet Witch. Also want Wonder Man.

First up, a new trailer for the Facebook game "Marvel: Avengers Alliance" appeared, featuring various characters in action. The team also confirmed the addition of several new characters, including Gambit, Beast, Havok, and Emma Frost. A new Avengers Vs. X-Men-style team-up battle will also be rolled out within the next few months, along with additional new characters.

This right here! I can see him as either an infiltrator or a bruiser. Either way, I'd get him immediately. I'm a little too addicted to this game :)

As for this announcement...I must have Namor. I don't have Colossus or Cyclops yet, but I'd get them for their outfits.

This game has a TON of unfixed bugs holding it back from being epic. They just came out with a second version on the playdumb website rather than fix the facebook version.
Once you play for a while you will begin to hate playdom to no end.
