Former WONDER WOMAN Megan Gale Joins MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Cast

Gale, who was all set to play the Amazonian Princess in George Miller's now defunct Justice League movie, has landed a role in the director's upcoming return to post apocalyptic world of Mad Max. Several other cast additions have also been announced..

I'm sure most of you remember the cast that would have brought the Justice League to life in George Miller's vision of the DC superteam, before the movie was scrapped, leaving said cast extremely disappointed indeed. Well now Aussie supermodel-cum-actress Megan Gale will have a chance to be a part of another highly anticipated big screen project with Miller, as he has cast her in Mad Max: Fury Road.

Her role is a mystery for now, but Moviehole have details on some other cast additions. Joining Gale, Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, are Nathan Jones as Rictus Erecetus, Nicholas Hoult as Nux, Hugh Keays-Byrne (who was set to play Martian Manhunter alongside Gale) as Immortan Joe, and Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as ‘the wives’. Also onboard are Supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw, playing The Dag’; Courtney Eaton has been cast as Fragile; Josh Helman is Silt; Jennifer Hagan is Miss Giddy; and musician iOTA is Coma-Doof Warrior.

Some character names eh? But they are actually all perfectly in keeping with the Mad Max mythology. Moviehole also have some plot details on the film, which began shooting July 9th..

“Mad Max Fury Road” sees Mad Max (Hardy) caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the imperator Furiosa (Theron). A battle erupts on the road in front of them over the course of the film as they attempt to push the rig to safer terrain.

you better change the word cum to come or else people are gonna get the wrong idea
RorMachine - 8/13/2012, 5:31 PM
Why would they get the wrong idea over the right phrasing?
thewonderer - 8/13/2012, 5:34 PM
"Aussie supermodel cum"?
LoudNoises - 8/13/2012, 5:41 PM
She would be the perfect fit for Wonder Woman. Appearance wise. I'm never seen her act.
Durf - 8/13/2012, 5:41 PM
lol, so she is a cum actress?
Durf - 8/13/2012, 5:41 PM
seriously though, she might have made a good Wonder Woman
TokenNerd - 8/13/2012, 5:43 PM

Its funny when an article is posted about sexy females, you barely get comments about the overall subject but instead about the dirty little things we want to do to her. LOL LOL.
UrbanKnight - 8/13/2012, 5:57 PM
She never got to be WW tho but kewl. Im very curious about this flick.
Bane2099 - 8/13/2012, 6:23 PM
IMO she should still play WW if and when she gets a solo film or Justice League gets rollin.
PerlaB4 - 8/13/2012, 6:33 PM
i agree with the souleater, she would've been a good cast for the she hulk. But i also think she would've made a great wonderwoman

storyteller - 8/13/2012, 6:40 PM
She is not a former Wonder Woman. She never played the role so this is pointless news.
Bodwulf - 8/13/2012, 6:41 PM
^agreed^
RorMachine - 8/13/2012, 6:45 PM
She was cast, she just never got to play the role..not quite a "former WW" agreed, but it's a lot easier to fit that in the title! Also, the news is that Gale has been cast in Mad Max -- how is that pointless just because she never actually appeared on screen as Wonder Woman? I swear, some o you guys and logic..just like oil and water ya little rascals!
Bodwulf - 8/13/2012, 6:50 PM
Sorry Ror . I still like your articles but this one feels a little strained to make a connection. I am sure the next one will rock! (And I got to post my Obama with an eagle pic!) So not a total loss. :)
Bodwulf - 8/13/2012, 6:53 PM
Sadly this is the only live action JLA we will ever see
Justice League, The 1970s live action DC Comics Heroes
RorMachine - 8/13/2012, 6:53 PM
But my point is, there doesn't need to be that connection..we cover Mad Max anyway!
Bodwulf - 8/13/2012, 6:55 PM
^agreed^ :)
pro346 - 8/13/2012, 6:59 PM
I've seen some of the cars in the metal for mad Max 4 and all I can say is wow!
Nexus6 - 8/13/2012, 8:04 PM
Jesus H on a popsicle stick Ror, you're dealing with some infants here! Looking forward to this one!

mgeoff88 - 8/13/2012, 9:18 PM
Megan Gale is a goddess. It sucks that the previously planned JL movie fell through; she would've been amazing as Wonder Woman.

The cast for this sounds great. I'll be checking this out.

@Ror Great article, man. My only complaint is the "supermodel-cum-actress" part. Something about that doesn't sit right. It sounds like she went from being a supermodel to entering the adult entertainment industry...

If you take out the 'c', it would come across so much better. Just my two cents.
TwiztidThorn - 8/13/2012, 11:42 PM
You wouldn't call Dougray Scott the Former Wolverine would you?
gaikinger - 8/14/2012, 12:26 AM
@Bodwulf- I wish that eagle would bite that jerk.
gaikinger - 8/14/2012, 12:31 AM
Just amazing that Miller is reimagining the franchise. Cannot wait for this to cum out....and wow is this chic smoking hot or what?
JillValenfield - 8/14/2012, 1:58 AM
Wow, almost in her 40's and still beautiful and gorgeous.
Looking forward to this :)
Nomis1800 - 8/14/2012, 3:32 AM
Oh we will see a JLA film. Mark my words.
HannibalKing - 8/14/2012, 3:32 AM
Great, I'm going to have to give this movie a wide berth. Australian's cannot stand this woman.
SamHell - 8/14/2012, 5:01 AM
supermodel-cum-actress? What does that even mean?

Ive been waiting a long time for this...hope it's good.
ralfinader - 8/14/2012, 7:00 AM
Looking forward to more Mad Max, without the anti-semite Gibson attached. And damn did WB drop the ball, she had the right look for WW.
RorMachine - 8/14/2012, 7:21 AM
supermodel-cum-actress is a real term, meaning a model who became an actress. Don't believe me? Google is your friend. Jesus.
RorMachine - 8/14/2012, 7:23 AM
cum [kʌm]

prep

used between two nouns to designate an object of a combined nature a kitchen-cum-dining room

[Latin: with, together with, along with]

AlexDeLarge87 - 8/14/2012, 7:30 AM
Nice cast. Cant wait the movie.

So is Theron the main villain? Not like i have anything against her but i had little bit problems with the previous female villain in Mad Max series.
Tina Turner just didnt strike me. In the matter of fact the whole third episode seemed too light to me.
This new one better be more like The Road Warrior and the first Mad Max.
Brutal shit needs to happen.
AlexDeLarge87 - 8/14/2012, 7:32 AM
Kevin Durand would be great add for the cast. He would be great Punk villain. You know like Vernon Wells as Wez in Road Warrior. :)
ralfinader - 8/14/2012, 8:34 AM
cum [kʌm]

Corrected!

Sorry, just amused that Ror had to go to such lengths to explain the basics.
bropous - 8/14/2012, 8:46 AM
Who?

[Bodwulf, LMAO at The Mighty Isis in your Justice League line-up! Who's the old guy with "SC" on his red uniform?]
CherryBomb - 8/14/2012, 11:28 AM
Megan Gale is so so so beautiful
and has a killer body.
I still wouldn't mind her playing WW. I don't give a frick if she's 37.

CherryBomb - 8/14/2012, 11:28 AM
I'll definitely see this film now she's in it! <3
A 5'11 Goddess.
JustinMSalvato - 8/14/2012, 3:25 PM
Uh, HELLO!

Bodwulf - 8/14/2012, 4:16 PM
