See Michael Shannon Display His Villainous Skills In Trailer For THE ICEMAN

Not a CBM, in fact it's a crime thriller! But it stars our future General Zod as the ice-cold killer of the title, and also Captain America himself, Chris Evans, as his partner. Check out the first trailer..

Here is the first trailer for Ariel Vroman's The Iceman, the true story of mob hitman Richard "The Ice Man" Kuklinski, who is said to have murdered at least 100 people before he was 18 years old. Ray Liotta, Chris Evans, David Schwimmer, James Franco, and Winona Ryder co-star in the film which will premiere next month at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.





So, based on that it seems we can look forward to Shannon bringing plenty of menace to Man Of Steel when he takes on Superman as General Zod. This movie looks pretty good too. Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

So it's about General Zod and Captain America plotting how to kill Superman but then... Iceman shows and saves the day?

Wow! I 1st saw the documentary on this guy back in 2000 on HBO. Richard "The Ice Man" Kuklinski was evil , the real thing!I had no idea this movie was going to be made, Micheal Shannon looks like he could pull it off. If you want to be scared try to watch the original documentary if you can find it.

If he's sporting that Goatee look while he's playing Zod, I am amped for Man of Steel...Dude looks like a bigger tougher version of Terrence Stamp, BRING IT!! Next Summer, some of yall better get ready to KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!

I agree with Nomis. I thought this was a movie for Bobby Drake/Iceman too. Had me excited there for a minute. The Iceman looks pretty good, and Chris Evans is one of my favorite actors. That's another reason I would go see it.

I remember watching him on HBO. Dude was a monster. I remember him saying that someone pissed him off on the road and he end up killing the guy.

The doc is insane...the bit where he says he never liked using a chainsaw to dismember his victims because he didnt like chunks of flesh all over him is said in such a matter-of-fact way it's unbelievable.

Be interesting to see what Shannon does with this after watching the extended trailer a while back. Might give some indication of what he'll bring to Zod but doubtful.

I'm glad Michael Shannon is blowing up. The guy's a great actor! I also can't wait for the next season of Boardwalk Empire!

He's looking mighty good with that goatee! And by good I mean evil! And by evil I mean LIKE ZOD!!!

Been waiting on this a while too. Hope they release it soon. I sense it'll be on time for awards season. A couple of reviews on it are pretty favorable

Hard to believe that some idiot actually wanted to cast Channing Tatum as the lead.

i remember watching this documetary on hbo many years ago. as long as its accurate this movie will be oscar worthy.if not itll have as much succses as lost boys 2 did!LOL

This guy was a pathological lier. Do the research, you'll find there is no verification for many of the kills he claims to have done. Many of the mob hits he takes credit for were committed by known mobsters. He may have killed a handful of people in his lifetime but over 200 is bullshit.

Wow Is this showing at the tiff down at Toronto? If so I wanna see this movie, looks very well done as a crime thriller also Ray Liotta is in this and Winona ryder is a under rated actress ever since her stealing incident. Looking forward to this and micheal Shannon seems like a very good actor and I haven't seem his any movie except bad boys 2.

Zod and Cap joining forces to kill people, DAMN!. Looks pretty good, Hopefully Evans knocks it out of the park. Now lets see a trailer for Rush starring Hemsworth. Now that could be an oscar contender for this or next year.
