Apparently this poster was an incomplete version, so we've taken it down and will post the full official one as soon as it's released.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is based on the acclaimed survival horror videogame franchise by KONAMI and is the sequel to Hadida and Carmody's earlier Silent Hill directed by Christophe Gans. For years, Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.

Starring Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm McDowell, Silent Hill: Revelation is set to hit theatres on October 26, 2012.

First movie was the best video game adaptation ever! Hoping this one lives up to that and doesn't just use the whole 3D gimmick..

What @BRandom said.

Hopefully Sean Bean doesn't die end of this, I mean the dude die's in every movie. and I would agree with the fact its one of the better ones, but its not that hard to be "better" amongst the pack. We still haven't had a "good" video game adaptation.

The poster is pretty cool. The first Silent Hill was good, and the sequel looks better.

Hope the 3d doesn't cheese it up.

These are the true survival horror adaptations into flim, unlike the techno dance Resident Evil flicks.

^ All I can think about when I hear the title of this film.

Wait, Boromir and Trinity in the same movie?! LOL, sad Carrie doesn't get that many roles in films now-a-days, she's a very underrated actress.

i thought the first movie was terrible too

First movie was a complete shit. There should've been Harry Mason - a male character. I'm not a sexist, but the whole concept was spoiled. Not looking forward to this one.

Not interested at all! I'm a fan of the old Silent Hill games and the movie was shit and I expect this one to be crap as well.
Pyramid Head wasn't in Silent Hill 3...P-head was only meant for James :( Valtiel should be in it...not Pyramid Head. So, this movie is one I will not see.

@Teabag: I remember playing that game! It was awesome....

Don't game and the movie was pure garbage, so I wouldn't even watch this on SyFy.

can't f#ckin wait!!

Now THIS is the 'survival-horror' video game movie flick that I'm waiting for.

As long as they don't "RE" it up, and go with the direction and mood of the first, it'll do OK.
mgeoff88 - 9/1/2012, 7:35 PM
@teabag Ecco the Dolphin was a fantastic game. And so was Tides of Time. I actually beat the first two games, and I played the Dreamcast one, but I didn't finish it.

Lol! I even bought Ecco Jr. Not nearly as great as the other games.
Luminescent - 9/2/2012, 3:56 AM
@Teabag: You sir, Have a great taste in games! ;)

Everybody who says the first movie was bad is either a troll or just really unfortunate.
Grimm - 9/2/2012, 10:09 PM
The poster is already removed, but I loved the first movie, and LOVED playing the game. Scarriest shit next to the original Resident Evil game... IMHO
Grimm - 9/2/2012, 10:11 PM
I loved to get freaked out when the radio would get the static... and let me tell you, the warning alarm has a whole new facet to it here in theater!
