New Trailer For THE WALKING DEAD Season 3 Hits

Bloody Disgusting have scored the first official trailer (not counting the extended SDCC footage) for the upcoming third season of AMC's brilliant Zombie series. It's brief, but there is some great walker hacking action. Check it out..

In the highly anticipated new season, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his fellow survivors continue to seek refuge in a desolate and post-apocalyptic world and soon discover that there are greater forces to fear than just the walking dead. The struggle to survive has never been so perilous.


The Walking Dead season 3 will consist of 16 episodes, and will air in two parts with the first eight hours kicking off October 14th and returning in February, 2013 with the final eight episodes.

I believe they said that the bite only causes infection that speeds up death. Kinda like any infection from a cut if untreated can actually kill you. The bite speeds up that process.
But then it's been a while since I watched season 2 so i could be wrong.

SUCH a good show. But I hate how people are calling it the greatest show on TV. Breaking Bad is the best show ever. Period.

it does not take a bite to turn them into zombies, perhaps you just started watching the series or missed a or few but bascially if they die whether its a bite or they have an accident which causes their death they will come back to life.

This was shown on the last episode of season 2 when rick shot shane at the end and shane came back to life and almost killed shane only for rick son to shot zombie shane in the head.

I can't even decipher what you wrote there. Shane was trying to kill Shane? Rick *stabbed* Shane in the penultimate S2 episode, not shot, who then rose as a zombie in the open of the finale and began approaching Rick at which point Carl shot him in the head.
