Most of us will agree that The Avengers was a damn fine piece of superhero cinema, but as we also know, elements of the movie came in for a bit of criticism at the same time, and there were a few vocal detractors. But hey, what movie escapes that? The thing is, with The Avengers fans tend to get a bit tetchy when anyone points to a flaw, and with that in mind, Screen Junkies have focused their latest Honest Trailer on highlighting a few of em - that is, if you agree that they ARE flaws? Have a look and sound off in the usual place..

I don't agree with all of that of course, but it's still pretty damn funny. The Avengers is out now on Blu-ray and DVD.

I guess they missed at the end if THE INCREDIBLE HULK when Banner trained himself to control his transformations.

It was ok though. Lol

Seriously, FINALLY. Hilarious and all true.

No one comments on the flaws of Avengers, but its all fun and games to point out the flaws in TDKR

That was hilarious. i loved the "gay bane" comment and how the Avengers talked to each other without any communication devices.

Some of this is funny, the rest is dumb like criticizing the first 40 minutes for actually developing the storyline and characters before the serious action starts.

lolz at no headset comment. There is already micro-Bluetooth on market. Do you not except Stark to have something better? like, pinpoint audio broadcasted directly into each avenger's ear. man, the lack of imagination is a killer.

Why do you I agree with most of this? The movie, to me, was very over-rated. I gave it a mixed review, but I rated it 80-something percent for the pop-corn fun it included. But I don't see how this was better than Iron Man or The Dark Knight, which I felt deserved the praise they received. However, not all of the honest trailer I agreed with, such as nobody knew who Thanos was. I knew who Thanos was from the comics and I'm pretty sure thousands of other comics did to. But I am also keeping in mind that this trailer is supposed to be taken as a joke.

@starscream

Its a sole movie, and its to be evaluated as such.

Character Development isn't something that stops. None of these characters just stop what they're doing for a purpose. They have ongoing turmoil, and it would've been super easy to incorporate it in Avengers too.

Tone down the comedy for christs sakes, cutting about 10 jokes from the whole flick wouldn't hurt anyone. Use the time to seriously reflect on Caps isolation, maybe focus on something of Stark that the other 2 didn't already focus on (Shouldn't be ignorant and cocky all the time then realize how wrong i was all over again). Elaborate on Hulks controlling. PUT MORE THAN A LINE ON THORS APPEARANCE.

Have Loki be a bigger threat than just some pawn at the last fight. He could've held his own against Hulk using illusions for a little.

I agree with @thewonderer for some goddamn crazy reason. The Lizard, made me think that he could eat and break a young Spider-Man. However Loki coudlnt do shit against the Avengers, he didn't put up any fight. He got his ass kicked.

I think the Thanos one was the finniest. I remember in the theater when they showed that, like 3 people clapped LOL. No one knew who he was.

I want doubters to seriously consider this reversion of the Hulk pwning Loki scene I came up with.

As Hulk crashes in, have Loki set up multiple illusions. To which Hulk smashes at but keeps attacking the wrong one and missing. THEN have Loki kinda cockily say something and Hulk finally smacks the right one. THEN have the money line "You dull creature" and the final Loki smackdown.

This way Loki actually managed to hold Hulk at bay, thus making him more credible and a victim in the end of his own overconfidence.

Haters gone hate.

The reason why most fans don't go on about certain things like others is because they've already gone over it, I remember when the trailer and images came out fans already said what they had to and that's why it's kind of null and void now.

"Tone down the comedy" I'm sorry but what makes Marvel and especially The Avengers so good is that they don't take everything so seriously an make it feel like you're watching a true comic book come to life.

"reflect on Caps isolation" This isn't Captain America it's The Avengers

"focus on something of Stark that the other 2 didn't already focus on (Shouldn't be ignorant and cocky all the time then realize how wrong i was all over again)" You've never read a issue of Iron Man have you.

"Elaborate on Hulks controlling" Why, it's not hard to understand.

"PUT MORE THAN A LINE ON THORS APPEARANCE." Yes do that just to give away more details of what Thor 2 could be about and dont leave anything to the imagination.

"Have Loki be a bigger threat than just some pawn at the last fight. He could've held his own against Hulk using illusions for a little." When would he use the illusions, the part when Hulk smashes him through the window or when he cuts him off mid babbling to smash him into the ground.

The one and only thing that I would have liked to have seen that you could have used but didn't was why didn't they say anything about Rhodey

At the end of the day.

No matter what.

Avengers >>>> TDKR

The critics believe it. The fans believe it. And the box office reflects it.

Deal with it.
