Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is based on the acclaimed survival horror videogame franchise by KONAMI and is the sequel to Hadida and Carmody's earlier Silent Hill directed by Christophe Gans. For years, Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.

Starring Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm McDowell, Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is set to hit theaters on October 26, 2012.

I thought it was only just watchable..but I think people were expecting a complete load of shit, so were pleasantly surprised and tend to over-praise it.

The first one was hardly the best horror movie in the world, but I really enjoyed it. I did have low expectations, but regardless I thought it was pretty good. I just wished they toned down the CGI some so it wasn't so blatantly obvious.

The first Silent Hill was good, and I hope the sequel is better.

I liked it at the cinema, but haven't really enjoyed it since on repeat viewings. This sequel looks like too much of an action movie, I didn't really get a horror vibe from the trailer... Resi syndrome.

@mavel72 and tea, idk the double dragon movie was off the hook:) I think the first mk movie or the street fighter has been the best. The tomb raider movies were better than the first silent hill and that's sad

@tea, silent hill was 10 years after the rest, quality better? I'd hope so, but the fun and final product including cheese factor and seeing sub zero freeze a mofo takes the quarter for me:)

I didn't watch tekken but street fighter is just fun, maybe cuz I grew up with the characters and it doesn't take itself too seriously which to me isn't always a bad thing. And jean Claude is in it:) man I loved kickboxer as a kid too

Is aqua still around??? One direction I have to deal with way too much ( the ol lady is a consultant for Disney and one direction is sleeping with Micky and became there go to band) You win with the cgi talk buuut it was still terrible:) hahaha I saw street fighter in the theatre, baught the toys when I was a kid, the DVD and recently the blu ray:) mission to Moscow! I've never finished it haha but there had to be one that was terrible out of the 8. Plus they waited ten years till after the previous one, bastards.
