IGN have just posted our first look at Deathstroke, played by Jeffrey Robinson. The master assassin will appear in the 5th episode of Arrow, 'Damaged'..

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he's become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel's father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver's own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine.

The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance.

The second episode of Arrow airs Wednesday on the CW.

lame
sameoldthing - 10/12/2012, 2:56 PM
Looks pretty damn good..now I like Deadshot not wearing full face mask, don't need every villain with a mask on but Deathstroke HAS to have his cool mask.
He's a deadly mercenary, assassin & needs anonymity in his line of work.
Deadshot is a lesser threat, don't care bout him as much.

If they do show Deathstroke's face,he better have a full head of white hair & goatee.
Not a bald old turd like Smallville portrayed Slade to be.
Would be great if they have Ollie stab him in his eye socket like he did in Identity Crisis.
Flashback in start of episode one hinted at that.
DarkGrifter - 10/12/2012, 2:58 PM
Looks great, I just hope there's a bit more orange on the rest of his costume, even if it's just a few more accents like on his grenades...

You know what CW, just make this happen:
jimpinto24 - 10/12/2012, 2:59 PM
Deathstroke!
JDUKE25 - 10/12/2012, 3:01 PM
Not bad, could be better though.
DaenerysTargaryen - 10/12/2012, 3:01 PM

MJPETTY7 - 10/12/2012, 3:02 PM

rbfn04 - 10/12/2012, 3:02 PM
Looks great. Wish the orange was a little bit darker, but, looks great
Action - 10/12/2012, 3:02 PM

ellispart3 - 10/12/2012, 3:02 PM
not bad. the pilot episode was pretty cool, and it was nice to see drakon face off with ollie. we'll see where this goes.
BlueMex - 10/12/2012, 3:02 PM

Looks good for a TV series version!
BruceWayneNewton - 10/12/2012, 3:03 PM
Looks pretty good to me. I'll still give this show a few more chances
RobLiefeldFan - 10/12/2012, 3:05 PM
some fanboy had to find a fault or look for something to complain about tsk tsk tsk LOL
FoxForce5 - 10/12/2012, 3:06 PM
Now that makes me happy!!! Can't wait to see this one in action. This show might actually have promise.
Ranger14 - 10/12/2012, 3:08 PM
Not bad for a CW television show.

"They still claim they're going to keep this thing "gritty" LMAO. When guys start showing up wearing colorful D.C. masks (every costume and mask in D.C. is colorful except for Batman), it ain't gonna be all that "gritty"."

Yes, because we all know gritty and color just don't mix. Just check out Tarantino's films...should have never put Uma in that yellow outfit...just ruined the grittiness...oops :-P

*end sarcasm*
GUNGRAVE1 - 10/12/2012, 3:08 PM
I'm going checkout it little bet more.
RobLiefeldFan - 10/12/2012, 3:08 PM
yeah i also remember that THE WORLD's GREATEST ARTIST/WRITER ROB LIEFELD had an awesome run recently with this Character so is good to see him i hope oneday they make a deathstroke show and use Rob Liefeld's short stint as a base for some awesome episodes go Liefeld!!! go deathstroke
RorMachine - 10/12/2012, 3:09 PM
"Does this show suck now?"]

Yes.
LP4 - 10/12/2012, 3:14 PM
DEATHSTROKE!!!!
ellispart3 - 10/12/2012, 3:18 PM
@RorMachine
aw come on brotha, the pilot wasn't that bad...it wasn't that great either. but hey, it was the pilot. I did really enjoy the fact that they added the internal monologue for ollie. always wonder why that aspect of comic books are rarely translated over to film or tv.
Rykoo - 10/12/2012, 3:25 PM
we need a Deadpool mock up ASAP haha
BasedThanos - 10/12/2012, 3:25 PM
He actually looks a lot cooler than I thought he'd look! Could use a bit more orange, though, but whatever. Anythings better than some douche in a jacket like what they did with Deadshot.
MutantEquality - 10/12/2012, 3:26 PM
You just earned me watching one more episode.
BasedThanos - 10/12/2012, 3:27 PM
Now they just need to drop the "gritty" and "no superpowers" BS...
FoxForce5 - 10/12/2012, 3:28 PM
"yeah i also remember that THE WORLD's GREATEST ARTIST/WRITER ROB LIEFELD had an awesome run recently with this Character"
- RobLiefeldFan

LOL!!! Very funny, man... I think that made my day. Good one!
vermillion - 10/12/2012, 3:30 PM
Amazing! Loved the pilot. Didn't mind the changes they did with Ollie's family. Green Arrow's been one of my favorites.

Tony93 - 10/12/2012, 3:30 PM
Whicked cool
RorMachine - 10/12/2012, 3:33 PM
Look if you liked it, more power to ya, I didn't, and I can back up every criticism I have for it. I keep hearing "Aww, it was ok, it;s the CW, what do you expect" etc..excuses. With the level of brilliance being displayed on television these days, Arrow is actually downright embarrassing...BUT, I also acknowledge that it was the first ep, I will keep watching it in case it improves, but that pilot, which is all we have to go on for now, thumbs down from me.

Deathstroke does look decent.
Pooh - 10/12/2012, 3:41 PM
Looks 100% better than the old dude from Smallville.

But I wonder, does this show have a soul?

oldnoname - 10/12/2012, 3:42 PM
That looks great! Honestly, people should be happy it came out this good. I mean he even has the sword!

@RorMachine
I can see why some people didn't like it and that's fine, but I would classify it as embarrassing though. Personally I liked it.
Triptheorist - 10/12/2012, 3:43 PM
A. The nose looks huge
B. Does he have any speaking parts? Because Jeffrey Robinson is a stunt double, not an actor.
DarkGrifter - 10/12/2012, 3:43 PM
"yeah i also remember that THE WORLD's GREATEST ARTIST/WRITER ROB LIEFELD had an awesome run recently with this Character"

Yeah, he turned this:

into this:
oldnoname - 10/12/2012, 3:45 PM
GAH! I HATED Smallville's Slade Wilson. Looked like he was 86 years old and about to keel over. Don't even get me started on his "eyepatch" metal brick thing.
oldnoname - 10/12/2012, 3:46 PM
I was actually reading Deathstroke up until the issue Liefield took over. Just couldn't do it.
