New Posters For HEAVY METAL (METAL HURLANT CHRONICLES) TV Series

They certainly know how to market this show anyway. Kelly Brook features in one of a set of three new posters for the upcoming series, which is based on the classic French graphic novels by legendary comic book artist Jean ‘Moebius’ Giraud..

I wasn't even aware that this show was in development! Heavy Metal - released here under its original French title, Métal Hurlant Chronicles, was my first exposure to any type of real sci-fi/fantasy stories as a kid, not to mention a mild bit of comic book erotica. There has already been a couple of animated feature which adapted several of the magazine's serials, but this will be the first live action adaptation. Check out these new posters for the series, which will premiere in France in November, then move onto the UK and Germany. No release date for the US yet..











In the lineage of fantastic series such as Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits, Metal Hurlant Chronicles is the adaptation of the world renowned magazine of the same name. Discover the live versions of these exceptional comics by the writers of X MEN , BATMAN , SPIDERMAN , IRON MAN , GI JOE , STAR WARS , SUPERMAN, BLADE etc,... Fitted for the international market, each episode is 26 minutes long an is composed of one story involving Action, Heroic Fantasy, Science Fiction in english, directed by Guillaume LUBRANO.


Metal Hurlant Chronicles will span 24 episodes over two seasons. Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White, Rutger Hauer, James Marsters, Kelly Brook, Joe Flanigan, David Belle, Michelle Ryan, Darren Shahlavi and Matt Mullins star.

This one shitty looking poster. It fit dor porn movie not a proper tv show. I think this show gonna blows so hard Despite i like the cast I love michael jai white and british babe kelly brooke

Don't care if she's not a great actress,she's one of the sexiest women walking the planet.
If this show comes across like B-movie quality,who cares..that type of sci-fi works for Heavy Metal material.

Be cool if there was serious nudity & ultra violence like the magazine displays also.

@sameoldthing- It's that kind of thinking that fills our movies with terrible actors and actress'. If you wanna look at hot people while they deliver cringe worthy lines of dialogue with blank or confused looks on their faces, watch a porn flick or something.

This just looks like a really bad soft porn movie...with week graphics, probably very bad actors, and terrible/useless plot... just saying...

Great idea for a show, as long as each episode is a different story ala Twilight Zone. I'm a little concerned with the promo, but it could still be cool. Fingers crossed.

Big fan of the magazean. Own a few heavy metal books, great art work in them and i have the hevey meavy metle movies. I knda wish it was called heavy metal, but i'll be checking this out.
