ManofwooD - 10/22/2012, 10:09 AM
At this point i have no expectations for these wolvervine movies.
Tony93 - 10/22/2012, 10:10 AM
[frick] yea
gambgel - 10/22/2012, 10:15 AM
Someone should ask about Days of future past role
jingorot - 10/22/2012, 10:25 AM
i am not sure why everyone cares so much about when this film takes place. Fox doesn't. Fox never cares about contradictions, that's why they have so many plotholes.

just enjoy the film for what it is: wolverine's japanese adventure.
jessepostal - 10/22/2012, 10:28 AM
Ask if he gets his trademark costume!
soberchimera - 10/22/2012, 10:30 AM
@jessepostal That will never happen, he has one of the dorkiest costumes in comics history. His gruff exterior is completely torn away when he puts on that ridiculous yellow outfit. Singer gave the character back his dignity when he took it away.
Boogie138 - 10/22/2012, 10:33 AM
i want to know if he will don a version of the comic costume, cowl and all. not that him in or out of costume will have an effect on my opinion of the movie. i have a feeling this one will be the movie we been waiting for
jessepostal - 10/22/2012, 10:38 AM
@sober, i think a lot of people on here would disagree. They don't have to give him the yellow costume, the brown one would be fine. I don't even think the color is what even matters. Caps was very hard to pull off,and they did and did it well.
TheBeard - 10/22/2012, 10:40 AM
I feel it's a given that this ties in to D.O.F.P. Certianly interested to hear what they say.
Newbus - 10/22/2012, 10:43 AM

Sorry your thinking doesn't follow logic. He's worn the same costume for 30 years which by your thinking means he never had any diginity to give back in the first place.

Stumblin - 10/22/2012, 10:55 AM
Aww...they're trying.
BmanHall - 10/22/2012, 10:56 AM
@ Shamo: LMFAO

HeadPool420 - 10/22/2012, 11:21 AM
Sadly he probably won't wear the comic book suit. Unless they make one with stuffed legs. I dont want to see a tall Wolverine with huge arms and long skinny chicken legs! Looks to funny.
kenechokeesey - 10/22/2012, 11:32 AM
I hate it when actors are sword to secrecy.
WruceBane - 10/22/2012, 11:46 AM
oh, hey, awesome trolling @Avengers.

real excited to have more bullshit to skip in these comments sections.
AutobotCommander84 - 10/22/2012, 11:49 AM
I don't need a costume to enjoy this movie. I could understand why iconic characters like Spider-Man and Batman wear a costume. But why should Wolverine or The Punisher? Punisher did just fine without a costume in the 2 films he was in. Wolverine's costume was more of an outfit in the X-Men trilogy and while it still didn't serve a purpose, he didn't look like an idiot in a mask.
kevberg - 10/22/2012, 12:21 PM
Cool, Hope they nail this one..Hugh needs one in the WIN column.
Salemdog - 10/22/2012, 12:22 PM
Always good to see Wolverine at his best.

Nubase - 10/22/2012, 12:27 PM
this movie has to deliver and l believe that this time we will get the wolverine movie we have been waiting for, along with man of steel these 2 movies l will pay to watch at the cinema without paying attention to critics and this site.

soberchimera - 10/22/2012, 12:47 PM
@jessepostal Yeah, but Cap's character goes with his costume, he's very patriotic and goes against all odds to serve his country. Wolverine's dark past and renegade attitude just don't match with that bright yellow costume. I do like his X-Force costume though.

@Newbus The characterization of Wolverine over the years had been fantastic, but even today's writers will admit that Wolverine's original costume in this day and age can't be taken seriously which is why so many artists have changed it or have had wolverine just wear his civilian clothes.
BmanHall - 10/22/2012, 1:01 PM
Nubase: Even if it is the Wolverine movie you've all been waiting for, Jackman's done being Wolverine. They're just going to reboot it, or even worse, NOT reboot it and just shove a brand new Wolverine into their already [frick]ed up continuity.
BmanHall - 10/22/2012, 1:06 PM
@ soberchimera61: Colors aside, that doesn't mean they still can't give him a mask. FOX is so against giving their comic book characters proper costumes. I was surprised Cyclops actually had his visor and you can tell they hated it because they killed him off. =D
jessepostal - 10/22/2012, 1:13 PM
@sober, I see what your saying and that's why I said I don't think people will care what color. Obviously there not gonna make it bright yellow.
Spideyguy94 - 10/22/2012, 1:19 PM
Ill wait till the trailer come out before I judge this. it's based on the original wolverine miniseries so that's a plus I'm going to be cautiously optimistic x-men 3 and origins may have badly sucked but first class was fantastic and the director is a good
caveman - 10/22/2012, 1:26 PM
Hey someone remember to ask about the yellow costume. Also the tim e setting! And the yellow costume!
Maximus101 - 10/22/2012, 1:35 PM
Best superhero movie of 2013 is wolverine? Hahahaha come on that's too funny. It's going to be between iron man 3 and man of steel for sure.
caveman - 10/22/2012, 1:38 PM
I'm actually pretty head-over-heels for all of the CBMs next year. Keep 'em comin'!
megabatfan - 10/22/2012, 1:51 PM
Yellow costume... Brown Costume... I just want a costume with references to his comic book costume. In the X-movies he had a costume. Not like the comics, but with references. Check out his torso area & you'll see the triangular stripes... even on the shoulders.
Something like that is all I ask for.
luckylu - 10/22/2012, 2:11 PM
without the costume its just some dude impersonating wolverine. the "singer costume" makes him look like he is about to show up to austins ROT rally.
ATrueHero1987 - 10/22/2012, 2:34 PM
Some people need to grow up.smh

@jessepostal Did you finish RE6? How did you like it?
maxxgone - 10/22/2012, 3:56 PM
it really is a shame that they have screwed up one of the greatest comic characters of all time. this could have been a 'batman-esque' franchise.
HachibiTheMC - 10/22/2012, 4:36 PM
@soberchimera61

Co-sign the Uncanny X-Force costume. Maybe add some gold piping for nostalgia's sake.

1st Class showed that the traditional colors could work, as long as its not tooo tooo spandex-y.

BUT NO BATMAN BODY ARMOR/HOCKEY PADS PLEASE!! My only request for this movie
jessepostal - 10/22/2012, 6:37 PM
@marvel, i still haven't, i kinda got bored with it and stopped in the middle of Chris's story. I guess that's all that needs to be said about that game haha. It gets very repetitive
ATrueHero1987 - 10/22/2012, 7:26 PM
@jessepostal lol, yea. Almost every review said that Chris campagin was the worst out the 4. I'm glad I decided not to get it.
