Watch 2 Minutes Of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: BLOOD AND CHROME

The first full clip from the BSG prequel - which will air as a series of webisodes beginning this Friday - has debuted online, and features a young William Adama outmaneuvering a Cylon mother-fracker in an exciting looking space battle..

Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome takes place in the 10th year of the first Cylon war. As the battle between humans and their creation, a sentient robotic race, rages across the 12 colonial worlds, a brash rookie viper pilot enters the fray. Ensign William Adama, barely in his 20’s and a recent Academy graduate, finds himself assigned to the newest battlestar in the Colonial fleet… the Galactica. The talented but hot-headed risk-taker soon finds himself leading a dangerous top secret mission that, if successful, will turn the tide of the decade long war in favor of the desperate fleet.


Battlestar Galactica: Blood And Chrome debuts on November 9th on Machinima Prime, and then in 2013 the prequel movie will air on Syfy before hitting DVD & Blu-ray.

I dont know what to think, but i dont like the one liners adama is using, doesnt seem to fit with the character. Still gonna watch it though.

Looks good to me. Can't wait. Especially love seeing the old 70's style BSG ships. They are all in the back of my closet somewhere.

I miss Caprica as well. Can't believe I spent a week on Netflix watching every single episode of BSG. No prequel will ever be good enough to do that again

CRAP reboot. It wasn't even a pale shadow of the original Battlestar Galactica. I tried to give it a chance but it just was so bad I couldn't do it.

I'll pass this one by. Hope you guys who liked the Battlestar remake like this though.

As for the original, hell, of course it was always the same fifteen or sixteen battle shots every episode, I would have killed off Muffy and Boxy in the first five minutes, but the Cylons were REALLY cool and Balthazar REALLY evil. Loved that series, and have the original Battlestar Galactica opening theme (one of the BEST themes for TV ever written) as a ringtone on my cellphone.

Oh. And they actually put the two-hour pilot of Battlestar in the theaters equipped with "Sensurround" speakers, a sort of proto sub-woofer, which was also used for the movies "Earthquake" (Irwin Allen movie) and the World War Two naval battle movie "Midway", which made the experience REALLY cool for the time.
