VIDEO: 53 Things Wrong With THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN In Under 2 Minutes

Reason 0: "This movie exists". Marc Webb's Spidey reboot is quite divisive round these parts, so there should be a few that get a giggle from this vid from Cinema Sins, who sentence the movie to "HELL" for its crimes against celluloid..

A lot of this is quite nit-picky and really more for comedic effect than anything, but there are also a few genuine problems with the movie of course, and they are addressed in a speedy fashion here..



Which CBM would you guys like to see get the Cinema Sins treatment next? Let me guess - could in begin with a T and end in Knight Rises??

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.


The Amazing Spider-Man is out now on DVD and Blu-ray.

Hey, I for one loved the movie. I mean, really, it could have been a lot worse. And there has been worse out there. *cough* Spider-Man 3 *cough*

The "how did Spider-Man know which car the guy was gonna steal" gripe was the only good one. The rest were just nitpicking.

pretty stupid but of course they got some of these right I actually enjoyed the movie but it could've been a lot better if it werent for the stupid [frick]s at sony

I agree. I cringe at the information on Spider-Man 4 that was released. That would've been the worst out of the Raimi films.

lol that was funny but if you look into any movie too much the flaws will start to show jus enjoy the ride and stop being a critic cause ur not! im pretty sure u wud rather have a spidey movie than not have a spidey movie

Yeah someone had way toooo much time on their hands! I was not personally crazy about this movie but there was some serious nit picking going on in this vid.

I am sure you can do this with any movie and of course some more then others.

Some of these aren't really flaws more like contrived moments or obvious plot devices, but there's so much more wrong with the movie in many other aspects, the guy went pretty easy on it imo.

My only pet peeve in this movie was the same with the Original Trilogy...FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.. KEEP THE FREAKING MASK ON!!!

wow, he completely missed the mark on that, didn't get to anything that was truly the problem with the movie, really.

red letter media's Star Wars prequels nailed what fundamentally sucked about them. especially the Phantom Menace one.

i think the worst are those lists of like 141 'plot holes' to TDKR and Avengers.

these movies are stylized. it doesn't make u clever to notice that Batman's back was fixed by a rope or figure out that real people couldn't live from a 20 story drop into a car roof protected by only a cape.

i mean, it's a funny riff once or twice but after that,
no duh, man.

TASM should've skipped over Spider-Man's origin.

It felt like a rehash of the first Spider-Man movie, and took up so much time where the story could've been developed more.

With his origin out of the way, TASM2 could be what the first movie should've been.

@worldbreaker I have the same problem. What works for me is closing all my other tabs. After that, the video will play smoothly.

that was... not even funny... the only thing im agree with is the security camera thing and the receptionc thing xD... i liked the movie... is not the first spiderman movie we ever seen thats the reasn it doesn't have the same impact ... but is a lot superior movies thatn the other 3... and this could be the best cbm franchise ever...

The only complaint I have: KEEP THE DAMN MASK ON! There's no freakin' reason why Parker should be running around his damn high school with his mask off. I mean seriously. The only time it was okay was when he unmasked to the kid.
