THE WOLVERINE Teaser Will Be With Us February 12th

According to reports, the first teaser trailer for James Mangold's The Wolverine has been confirmed to screen before A Good Day To Die Hard on February 14th, but CBMers will be pleased to hear that it will debut online 2 days before that.

Director James Mangold had been reluctant to give us an exact time-frame for when we would finally see the first footage from his upcoming take on the mutant berserker, but now we can reveal that the very first teaser for The Wolverine will be online February 12th, 2 days before it screens in theaters in front of the latest Die Hard movie. We don't know what to expect in terms of content, but Mangold has suggested that it will be a true teaser, and probably won't reveal that much since we are already so familiar with the character, and he'd like to avoid giving too much of the story away. "I think you always want to put your best foot forward," he said. "For me, I'm not the marketing department of Fox, but for my own tastes, less is more." But that doesn't mean we won't see some cool footage of course, and apparently those who've been wondering what a peek up Wolverine's skirt looks like will be in for a treat. "You have a character that's a bit of a given, you know this guy. Hugh is so good in this role. My point of view is 'save as much as you can,' but we will be lifting our skirt and offering a peek or two.

If The Wolverine can't give a full on suit or even a cowl, I am willing to settle for this, just give us a little something Mangold. It's been a decade already, about time we see Wolverine decked out in righteous glory. *sigh* A fanboy can dream.

Nice, been really looking forward to seeing something from this. I lost most interest in the film when Aronofsky (loved his ideas on how Wolverine should appear and with him it would be a guaranteed brilliant film, plus he's perfect for this character) left but James Mangold is a great director in his own right, even if Jackman, who I love, kind of overstayed his welcome and in a way doesn't look as impressive so far as he did in the past. But im giving this a chance, which is more than it deserves after the last one.

Uhh....dammm Cyclops....origins and Ratner....Where is Black Panther.....gunna suck....no yellow tights.....his hair sucks....Jackman sucks.....his beard isn't big enough.....never saw the movie but I'm gunna pass judgment.....sucks.....trailer sucks....not long enough.....No cyclops racist black panther......

I'm disappointed… No Super Bowl showing :-(

I guess Fox's just being cheap. I am wondering if this movie could be one of the sleepers of the summer. I think I'll keep one eye on it

This movie will be terrific. No matter what. Jackman IS Wolverine. Period.

There's some VERY good reasons why he is the ONLY actor to portray the SAME character IN MULTIPLE movies without having to suffer a reboot, a replacement, or what have you...

If you don't like Jackman as wolverine...then U play wolverine. Go ahead and take some acting classes go to hollywood and do whatever it takes...don't forget to work out...gotta work hard for that physique. Then when you're ready, beg a director or producer to let you play the role in some sort of reboot.....hey let's stop complaining, but you can dream right?

Hugh Jackman is probably my favorite actor to have played a superhero. He's just so energetic about everything, you can tell regardless of the quality of the film, that he loves to act, to perform. He's a passionate actor. That's not to say that I don't love the other superfriends, but Jackman does it best.

I'll put that date on my whiteboard. Can't wait. I'm not really all that keen on the idea of the sill comicbook costumes making an appearance but if it would shut the weirdos up I suppose a tan and brown shirt wouldn't be too offensive to my eyes. I have not interest in seeing that stupid mask what so ever though. In the movies OR the comics.

Hugh Jackman is a good actor and seems to be a nice guy, never hear anything bad about him.

But.......

Its time for a re-boot.

Get someone that physically looks like wolverine, get him into the blue, yellow and black outfit, and have him go one on one with a comic book bad ass, like the Wendigo.

Forget the costume fella's. Every time someone mentions the "C" word, the term fanboy gets tossed around. And here I thought, the fans were the whole reason the movies got off the ground to begin with. Fox will water these characters down so much that you won't even recognize them in ten more years.
