I won't be seeing this in the movies, but I will for sure see it when it's on dvd...I have no problem with the team-up of Depp and Burton, but his wife really needs to go...Never watched the tv show, but I heard it was horrible...This movie looks like a good ride, and a very different take on the myth of vampires...P.S. I liked Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...the only thing that really pissed me off was showing that all the kids survived at the end...

I loved Alice in Wonderland, so I'll give this a try...on DVD

@rottencotten - I'm pretty sure they showed that all the kids lived at the end of the original Charlie with Gene Wilder, which was a much better movie than the Burton version.

I don't remember that at all...wonka and charlie go in his flying machine to float to his house, and end of movie...I don't remember that happening, and remember it to be one of my favorite parts of the movie...but maybe I should go back it watch it again...I just [frick]in' hate musicals...
