Thanks to Action Comics #14, Superman is given the opportunity to see just where in the cosmos Krypton had once been. How was this determined? Wired.com has offered up this video detailing the process involved in doing so.

Froggy -

HOLY [frick].

JUST WOW...
MCMLXXXII - 11/9/2012, 4:42 AM
great pic froggy, but the gray on batman makes me think that the gray & black suit won't look great in live action.
MCMLXXXII - 11/9/2012, 4:45 AM
and billy zane would be awesome as luthor.. period.
Happy11 - 11/9/2012, 4:57 AM

I'm pretty certain Snyder will want an Oscar nom/winner for Luthor.

I'm also pretty certain MOS is separate universe.

Sorry.
SimpleObserverOfThings - 11/9/2012, 5:32 AM
@FROGGY - Very Nice!

SUPERSHADOWBAT - 11/9/2012, 5:39 AM
Nicely done.
AnungUnRama - 11/9/2012, 5:40 AM
So the red dwarf is 27 light-years away which is said to be the proper distance because Superman is 27 years old. But he did arrive as a baby, didn't he? Since there is no other star within a one light-year distance to earth, Superman's spacecraft must have travelled faster than light or have passed a wormhole etc. So the whole point identifying the Star/Krypton's sun by the 27 light-year distance doesn't make sense in the first place.
AnungUnRama - 11/9/2012, 5:40 AM
But anyway, nice try.
jimoakley666 - 11/9/2012, 6:00 AM
AnungUnRama - I was thinking the exact same thing.
B4TM4N - 11/9/2012, 6:12 AM

ImnotDaredevil - 11/9/2012, 6:29 AM
@Froggy. Shit the bed!! Like I like;)
ElShumway - 11/9/2012, 6:44 AM
@Froggy Cool beans man! We'll see that soon enough! As Snyder hinted already, MOS will lead into JL with Cavill at the forefront! Good times.
QuietStorm - 11/9/2012, 6:49 AM
@Froggy You magnificent amphibian you. Great pics!!!
Fogs - 11/9/2012, 6:57 AM
Hmm so if they're searching for a planet that existed 27 light years away and superman is 27, at which speed SM's pod had travelled? If it was at lightspeed he should've been an adult already when leaving the pod, right?
Fogs - 11/9/2012, 6:58 AM
BTW @Froggy the SM / Bat pic is simply perfect! Kind of what I wanna see from WB's next Batman.
GRYDE - 11/9/2012, 7:16 AM
@MCMLXXXII@Froggy I wonder how Zane wouldve done in the Robocop reboot?
He also might be a good Victor Von Doom, or Norman Osborn.
I would be really interested in seeing him do some CBM work but more on the Marvel side.
riseofloganX36 - 11/9/2012, 7:18 AM
i like the music.

UNTIL next time TRUE BELIEVERS!
superotherside - 11/9/2012, 7:23 AM
Cool, but the story was boring.
hatrick3 - 11/9/2012, 7:41 AM
Cool pic Froggy. I like the darker colors on Supes and the gray on Bats.
MCMLXXXII - 11/9/2012, 7:44 AM
zane is a more than a decent actor, now although that's not a glowing recommendation, i think he can play the borderline charming/intimidating luthor, the type the actor who played doom in the ff movies tried to be .. and he has the voice for it too..
jimpinto24 - 11/9/2012, 8:05 AM
I was cool hearig the Superman theme song in the background!
AnungUnRama - 11/9/2012, 9:18 AM
I wasn't blaming them for implicitly stating Superman's spacecraft was faster than the speed of light. Sure it's a comic. So it is "possible" to go faster than light or use a wormhole or teleport or whatever. I even addressed that possibility myself. My point rather was that if Superman's spacecraft went through a wormhole to bridge the distance from Krypton to Earth, the wormhole could have bridged 27 light-years as well as 15, 100, 5000 or whatever. So the 27 (light-)year issue is obsolete.

But anyway I liked it. Especially that they used the John Williams theme in the background.
CharacterAssassin - 11/9/2012, 9:46 AM
@Froggy... the red belt on Supes suit makes it look much tolerable. They should of rolled with that one.
DioFoRio - 11/9/2012, 10:01 AM
that was cool!

@Froggy awesome pic man!!!

Love me some Tyson!!
6of13 - 11/9/2012, 11:01 AM
Nice @Froggy. And Zane would make a great and so very arrogant Luthor. IMO Luthor needs to be like Nucky Thompson on Boardwalk Empire i.e he is a humanitarian in they eyes of the public and media and he has complete influence on who runs/gets elected for mayor and DA etc. He runs the city...its organised crime and city hall except no-one is aware how he really is the one pulling all the strings.
Fogs - 11/9/2012, 3:15 PM
@ELgUaSoN - disney should buy DC and merge the universes. THAT would be the supreme epicness.
bhorwith22 - 11/9/2012, 4:06 PM
@MCMLXXXII It would be about time. We should have a full-fledged trailer by now. LOL
TheDetectiveComicRises - 11/9/2012, 4:09 PM
Froggy U put up the best pics Awesome job!
blueorangeny - 11/9/2012, 6:08 PM
@ AnungUnRama - Sorry but it doesn't have to do with speed of light. In the comics, if I am not mistaken it was explained that spacecraft created by JorEl did something so he doesn't age, it's the same effect Kara had which is why she never aged and now on Earth she's younger than Clark.
GetsugaTensho22 - 11/10/2012, 1:03 AM
Should HAVE. "Should've" is a contraction of "Should Have". PLEASE stop saying "Should of"!!!!
JULEZ13 - 11/10/2012, 8:40 AM
This makes no sense scientifically.

Are they actually taking the term "light years" as actual years? Light years is a measure of distance!
