The spot features USWT players Ali Krieger, Sydney Leroux, Christen Press and Megan Rapinoe mixed with footage of this summers Fantastic Four Movie set to be released August 7. The spot will run the duration of the tournament on FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2, the FOX broadcast network and over the company’s various social media accounts.
Fantastic Four, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. Directed by Josh Trank, Fantastic Four stars Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, Reg E. Cathey and Tim Blake Nelson, and the film is scheduled to open August 7, 2015.
