A user "Nick" from the site On Location Vacations writes this:

''Columbia Pitures will be filming “Fionas Tale” at Taft Highschool on 1/05/11 and 1/06/11 from 6am to 10pm. It is located at 5461 Winnetka Ave in Woodland Hills, cross street Ventura Blvd. I work across the street and was served with a “Notice of Filming” from FilmLA inc. The permit number is F00034266. It says there will be a “HELICOPTER LANDING/TAKING OFF FROM EXTERIOR BASKETBALL COURTS, 7AM-10PM” There will also be atmospheric smoke effects, weapons brandished, emergency vehicles with lights flashing, exterior dialogue, condor and crane, picture vehicles, wetting of the street, and talent is thrown out of window breaking glass.''

And another user on the Spider-man reboot boards named 'White_Knight191'
stated that he has the chance to go on the sets of the upcoming Spider-man movie here it is:

''Hey everybody, I am in LA right now and I recently got a tour of the film academy here (in hollywood). The guy was kind enough to take us down into the backlot of universal studios where coincidentally 'Spider-man' was shooting. I asked knowing full well if there were any "movies currently filming here" and sure enough he said spiderman and took us down into the new york film set (as seen in the pictures in this thread before).
- There were no people on the set obiously
- He said one wall was hand painted
- He also said they plan on blowing up part of this wall for a fight scene
- There was a massive backdrop of the New York skyline around the set
- And Andrew Garfield has also done some swing tests
- It was pretty impressive, the amount of detail put into the set to be honest

@SpiderManFan1995 good find dude! i still think that spidey needs 2 be in the MCU! but who knows this movie might be ok...
LEEE777 - 1/1/2011, 1:36 PM
Punisher Wh@rezone was one of the worst piles of sh1t ever made lol, right next to Catwoman and The Spirit.

Otherside @ Totally agree but all we can hope for is a decent Spidey and Ghost Rider from Sony.... one day we'll get 'em all back at Marvel!

Fishandchips - 1/1/2011, 1:38 PM
this is ment to be following the ultimate storyline loosely isnt it? The origin of that was my fave version of it, short of bendis spanning it over 6 issues, but i dont think it needs to be shown in too much detail, if they are going to show it.

Im stoked for this anyways garfield looks more like parker than tobey IMO and hopefully they'll give him wittier lines.

I'm glad that some marvel characters are at other companies. For one, Marvel doesn't have enough cash at its disposal to produce all these cbm's simultaneously (Just look at how slow DC is in setting up its films, these things are huge investments). Another, to have them all within the same universe sets us up for failures like the Avengers-prequel storyline to Iron Man 2, which seriously bogged it down. Monopolies are rarely a good thing, and if Marvel owned all its characters, it would be a monopoly.

I pity da fool who doesn't have a great new year. Im still hoping this movie will be good. They seem to be at least trying. On a separate note I pity myself. I just saw skyline. O my god why did I not heed the warnings. I guess this time Im the fool...sucka
LEEE777 - 1/1/2011, 1:48 PM
vinno @ No... everyones been telling me for a year it wont have nothing Ultimate in it! : P

Damn, where the hellz Teabag?!?

T @ Skyline lol, not yet had the pleasure! ; D
spidey1994 - 1/1/2011, 1:52 PM
I wanna see Andrew in the suit! It's killing me!!!!!
Fishandchips - 1/1/2011, 2:04 PM
@LEEE777 man i just want this to be succesful, they seem to pick and choose bits from different universes in the films, such as ultimate nick fury i dunno as long as they dont repeat any of the stupid dancing and such from 3 it will be ultimate in comparison.

@spidey1994 same man hopefully they dont reuse raimi's one updating please, also gimme them web shooters this time. And maybe some webpits haha.
Xandera - 1/1/2011, 2:04 PM
@Happyface - Punisher War Zone sucked monkey ass... it was just a lot of bullets and blood... and that pretty much sums it up...

@Spidey - yeah, we're all waiting to see how it looks pal...

@LEEE - Where the hell is teabag? haven't seen him on here in ages

Fishandchips - 1/1/2011, 2:12 PM
@ LEEE what happened to the penguin being in the new batman site by superkal did he get removed?
Xandera - 1/1/2011, 2:14 PM
@Vinno - I heard Big "G" deleted him again...
GUNSMITH - 1/1/2011, 2:18 PM
WHERES THE SUIT?
Fishandchips - 1/1/2011, 2:24 PM
fair enough was annoying that he was asking for everyones opinion and then telling you you were wrong and deleting comments if you disagreed, holmes thought george clooney was the best bats what a douche. Lol

Anyhway im stoked for this, its gotta be better than 3.
Pitydafool - 1/1/2011, 2:25 PM
@ Lee: just a bad movie with like two action scenes. Then a horrible ending. U think since they put u through so much crap they give u a good ending but nope. I hated myself for watching it. So, after that I watched a good movie Batman Begins.
prinzjoker - 1/1/2011, 2:35 PM
i wont see the movie i dont think it would be good. It might be better than the 3rd but not the 1st and 2nd. I just dont think no one will do a good spiderman with all his jokes and his mind thinking. I think the scence are going to have more cgi scenes than tobey
airbeyonder18 - 1/1/2011, 2:46 PM
I got it! I'm going to call Andrew "Spider-Bitch" from now on.
marvel72 - 1/1/2011, 3:12 PM
this better be as good as "spider-man 2",we need another decent "spidey" film.
LEEE777 - 1/1/2011, 4:32 PM
Pitydafool @ Yeah dude, Batman Begins sorts the problem out! ; )

X @ dunno lol, probably taken time for his fam over Christmas/New years.

Vinno @ What X said think Kal got eaten? Oh and fingers crossed theres no Ultimate in this one, seriously I hate mixing... takes you out of the movie, I'd rather it all Ultimate or none at all.
Xandera - 1/1/2011, 5:35 PM
@LEEE - Yeah maybe...

@Intruder - you could be right...
bigcityreporter - 1/1/2011, 10:05 PM
This reminds me of the "Power & Responsibility" arc from Ultimate Spider-Man in which the Green Goblin attacks Midtown High School, which is the first public appearance of Spider-Man. If the reboot is following USM, this should be quite interesting....
musicsuperhero1 - 1/1/2011, 10:37 PM
I like to think of it like this: Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Movies had their place and are special in their own right...and these movies will have their place and will hopefully be special in their own right. Hopefully they will be great and we'll get the 6 film Spidey franchise we were supposed to get.
Obviously the movie's not out yet but I just don't know how fair it will be to compare...both sets of films (guessing there will be sequels to this reboot) have their place. No sense in squabbling over "this wont be as good" or "its no Sam Raimi" or whatever...but i guess the hope is that these will be better just because we want Spidey to do well and we want lots of really good Spider-Man films to follow (without having to reboot).

Also...I hope this go around will have Spider-Man be much more witty and sarcastic like in the comics.

these films are looking promising...hopefully the studio learned not to put TOO much pressure on the filmmaker/writer (like they did on Spidey3)...also this time around we seem to have a lead man whose much more interested in Spider-Man than we did the last go around--hopefully this is true of the rest of the cast as well.

tangent over.
musicsuperhero1 - 1/1/2011, 10:43 PM
@SuspenseSmith ...LOL nice. Love your avatar btw.
carl69 - 1/1/2011, 10:44 PM
Sounds like not much of a new post at all. Seen nobody, Couldn't tell any characters, I guess wishing we could be one of the people that seen the actual filming of this movie is good enough to get a story..... MEH I clicked on it I guess didn't I..... Here's an idea! Make a reboot movie; like from the show. Then MAke a better one and call it the Reboot:Reboot!
Fishandchips - 1/2/2011, 4:59 AM
@LEEE i had this same arguement with my mate about ironman when they put nick fury as the ultimate one, as far as im aware just because sam. L .j has a contract with them. He thought it didnt matter, i said the same if they are gonna do ultimate, do it all or nothing. He doesnt read the comics so didnt argue to much lol. Long story short yah i agree with you all or nothin lol.

I would like it to follow USM but seens, if i remember correctly, there was no proto in USM (ALTHOUGH USM green goblin was like how normal proto was in a way) and spidey never is actually shown fighting conners, it just shows a flashback.

Man i just hope they dont ruin it
