They also flipped the image and put the Asgardian palace up in front of the Dark Elf ship thingy...

And people said TDKR posters were photoshopped.

I hope the Dark Elves pose a threat to the Asguardians, ulike the Frost Gaints.

the final Poster is really good. But it's like they had that design all along and just released different bits of it till they were closer to release.

"And people said TDKR posters were photoshopped."

They're all photoshopped, it's just that some look AWFUL. The Avengers one is terrible, and loads of the TDKR ones were terrible, and the Man of Steel one with the smudge tool on the cape was terrible.

With Iron Man 3 and this, there has been a markedly increase in quality. The photoshoppedness of them is painfully apparent when they keep releasing variations featuring the same photo layers re-arranged, but at least they come out pretty good overall.

I just gotta emphasise how cool I think the design of Malekith's armor/his buddes' outfits are. They're bridging the divide between sci fi and fantasy in a way I was a little worried wouldn't be the case with this film in more than.. you know.. laser guns or whatever. I hope, despite its sorta troubled development, that this movie is good. I think Thor is one of the phase one movies that ultimately holds up the best after Iron Man, thanks to its third act not... being missing.

THOR HAD BETTER DEFEAT AND KILL MALEKITH because of Pepper killing Killian like Catwoman killing Bane, doing the same here with Jane or Sif would mean that Marvel Studios has TOTALLY been CORRUPTED by that Dark Knight Rises movie like all they care about is money

I can't wait for this! The tone and feel is very different from the other Marvel Studios films. Flipping through the pages of my Simonson Thor Omnibus! Super excited for this!
