I think he did Cabin in the Woods (correct me if I'm wrong). Was that any good? (Not that it will really matter with how he directs Spiderman). Also, I think he's executive producer for Daredevil. So if he is directing Spiderman, we may see collaboration between the two franchises.

I know the name The Spectacular Spider-Man was used before the TV show, but I'd so enjoy seeing Greg Weisman have a hand in the movie.

On a serious note, I saw a video on YouTube which had Uncle Ben's death in TASM and in SM1.

HOLY [frick]ING SHIT THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 1 was worst then I gave it credit for.

Uncle Ben dies over Peter not having 2 [frick]ing cents! 2 [frick]ing cents! I always made milk jokes but 2 [frick]ing cents Uncle Ben dies over.

In Raimi it was because the guy paid Peter only $100 instead of the $3000 so we got a $2900 difference.

Meanwhile TASM1 2 [frick]ing pennies!!!! How can anyone praise or say anything good about that film anymore is [frick]ing beyond me.

2 [frick]ing pennies.

Yeah, people keep whining about Marvel pushing Phase 3 films back for another Spider-Man, but if Sony were to cooperate with MS, there's no way in hell they would let Feige put Spidey on the back burner while they hemorrhage potential Spider-Man gains. It's business.
