First Look at Smurf Movie

This is the first image of a CGI Smurf movie coming out of Sony Pictures Animation.
This first image of a CGI Smurf from Sony Pictures Animation's upcoming Smurfs movie was posted online last night. But we had to take a few more steps to make sure it was the real deal. It turns out that the studio ran the promo image, of which you can find a scan below, in a magazine recently.

Opening in theaters on December 17, 2010, the film will be directed by Raja Gosnell. "The Smurfs" were created in 1958 by Belgian cartoonist Pierre Culliford, known throughout the world as Peyo.

i don't believe this is the real Supermike. There's proper English in this article. It could be cut and paste I guess... but also Supermike always says the same thing: That the movie we are discusing shouldn't be made. No mention of that here.

There is the grammar thing, and the positive tone. Plus, this guy seems to have a sense of humor. However, mike would've already commented on this article defending himself. Unless of course he is stuck in the gimp trunk again waiting for Zed to let him out.

If it was really supermike why make it supermike2. If he's trying to hide his identity supermike2 will not fool anyone. And cbm says they delete articles with too much editing required. I gotta think a real supermike article would have fallen under that category. But whoever wrote it good job. Or whoever edited it good job. I'm surprised a bigger animation studio, dreamworks, pixar, isn't making this as opposed to Sony. Didint even realize they had an animation department.

the first thing that tipped me off its not supermike is (1) I know supermike can,t count to 2
(2) grammar is good
