The Cape: Summer Glau Talks Orwell

One of the people helping The Cape in his war against crime in Palm City is the computer whiz, Orwell, played by Summer Glau. Digital Spy has offered up an interview with the actress in which she details how different she is from her alter ego.

"I'm so technically deficient," she explained. "I can barely turn my computer on, so it's really fun for me to play somebody who has all the latest gadgets and has access to the most cutting edge cars. She's always cutting her own path. She's three steps ahead of everybody else. She obviously has a higher calling and what she's trying to do is selfless in a way, but it's also very personally charged. And then, on the other end, she's driving these gorgeous cars and she has beautiful clothes to wear and she's always got a new lair. She's fighting crime, but she likes to look good too."

The Cape premieres on NBC January 9th.

January 9th, this can replace my Walking Dead for now. I really am excited to check this out and see how it goes.

As much as I hope it succeeds I have a feeling this program is going to crash and burn.

Does anyone else find her Sexy as hell! I can't explain why but to me she is so damn hot. I think most people would think she is good looking but I think she is smoking!

Oh and this show looks like it will be good but I'm not going to pass judgement until after the first episode. Im still on the fence.

Brashlight@ Summer Glau IS sexy as hell! I am pretty conservative in making statements like that, but when it comes to Summer....it is a no brainer!

Ranger14@ Ok good, i was hoping i wasn't the only one, i just can't get over how sexy she is but she also seems so down to earth and CUTE as hell to. that smile is intoxicating!

If I wasn't engaged I would so fly out to LA and watch her closely from a distance. It’s not stalking, it’s obsessively shadowing :)

I loved her in Firefly and Serenity. When she was on Chuck a month or so ago I was blown away with how she has matured, yet keeping her youthful look. She was sssmmokin' in those epidsodes! :-D

AWESOME!!!

I agree 100% with you Brashlight & Ranger14, she is easily one of the most gorgeous women I have laid eyes on but for some reason so many people would disagree with us because they think she is weird looking or something

Summer is awesome & I hope the Cape does well. She badly needs to be in a show that goes beyond two seasons: Terminator tv series only ran for two seasons and Firefly just barely ran for one series (I still think that is a crime to this day). So I hope the Cape does well

Well it looks like this show is going to be cancelled. I can't think of many shows that Summer Glau has been in that didn't get axed. She is damn hot though!

I think she's uber cute, especially in the thumbnail image. But I don't really find her sexy, per se.

She reminds me of a forest sprite.

I've always loved me some Summer Glau. Very hot and also quite a talented Actress too :) Went back and started rewatching Firefly after I dug up my copy of Serenity which was all inspired by finished season 2 of the Sarah Conner Chronicles
