Back in November, The Vampire Diaries' Steven R. McQueen sent a tweet to Arrow executive producer Greg Berlanti, that started rumors suggesting he would be appearing as Nightwing, Batman's former sidekick, on the hit superhero series:
Expectedly, the tweet spread like wildfire online, sparking rumors that he would in fact be making a trip to Starling City as Dick Grayson. Subsequent tweets only helped spread those rumors, but McQueen has now spoken up about the truth behind them, revealing that he hasn't actually landed the role, but would love the opportunity to play Nightwing if given the chance.

"It's a great story that hasn't really been told. You know, if I get the chance to play a superhero, I can't make any promises that I'm not going to run with it."
