I thought the story was stupid before but I was still thinking of seeing it in theaters. After seeing the first few TC spots on TV I changed my mind and thought I would post them so other people can check them out and decide if they wanted to see it or not. I get that its a horror comedy but I do still prefer that a movie has a decent story but it looks like a movie I will be sitting there predicting what happens next.

What are your thoughts on the movie?

I'm not sure if i want to see this movie or not. It seems really effin cheesy. I think i'll wait and read some reviews before i make up my mind.

Ozy its a comic book movie starring a very prominent CBM actress, of course its going to make the front page! Will people still be wondering why stuff about Jennifers Body makes the front page every single time something does..which is like every [frick]ing day!

Your Halo fan cast is just that, fan fic and about a computer game character at that. Its rare fan fic polls will be making the front page anymore because of people complaining about them taking up space in the news section, so blame the whingers!

Yeah but Lobo was just in the news with Gut Ritchie announced as director and like i said, he is a comic book character. The odd one will make it on. But only if the main man moves it himself.

I'm just gonna say I always see this happening. People asking why does this belong here? why does that belong here? And Rorshach always pointing it out with good reasoning and logic behind his arguments.

But anyway, yeah this movie looks lame - another rung up the ladder towards Streep lol - could be proven wrong, but I don't think it's gonna get best picture. But if Fox is nude, I'll see it.

Regardless of Fox's acting skills (she's still a budding actress) she's damn hot and although the movie isn't academy award winning, I'd almost say it tops spider man 3 which I wasted money on so yea, I'll be seeing this, if only to find out what she is and the eye candy...

I'll see this just cause I love Horror movies. Megan Fox is just a bonus nothing more. I still don't see all the fuss over her, yeah she looks good but I've seen way better than her. I only hope that this movie has gory and graphic scenes, that would be enough to satisfy me regardless of how lame the story is. Sure the story has that "this has been done before" feel to it but, that doesn't mean its going to be bad at all. Horror movies are a dime a dozen and creativity has gone out the window when it comes to this genre you just have to take them as they are, its rare when a movie like the Descent comes out giving an original and fresh feel. Regardless, I'm looking forward to opening weekend and I can't wait to see this.

Oh yeah, almost forgot but, why is everyone crying about Master Chief not making the front page? Honestly, who cares. There have been so many other games that should at least get a movie make over before Halo. I never saw the big deal with Halo. The covenent villains look like little harmless stuff animals. Halo blows. Its too "kiddy." The only thing good about the Halo games are the multiplayer modes, other than that its crap.

Oh shut up about your master chief article. This is an actual movie. As stupid as it may be it's still news your article is not. Nor do I think any of the "fan pick" articles should have made the front page.

I know I won't see this movie. Sex alone can't sell a movie... unless it's porn and then it's really easy.

I don't like to criticize movies before they come out but I think this is gonna be pretty bad. I'll give it threee months to be on DVD and oh my gosh Blu Ray after it hits theatres. By the way, how is this comicbookmovie news!! tyko450 get a frikkin' clue!!

Though I understand that no one really cares about this movie either. I'd be happy if it was no where on this site. Frankly I don't see what it has to do with comic books. Because it has the actress from the transformer movies? That doesn't warrant the title "comic book movie".

I never complain that my fan films don't make the front page.

It's still technically mainstream news. It's not fan fic or scoops or an editorial or anything. The only place it fits is on the main page. Your article is fan fiction that's why it belongs there.

It sucks I know because no one goes to the fan fiction link which is a shame because there's a lot of good stuff there.

She's in Transformers, she's in Jonah Hex, she's in this stupid comicbookmovie lol, she's a comic book geek herself, she's physically all of our wet dreams comes true. It's a slow news day. It doesn't hurt to have it up here.

I wouldn't mind seein' a big budget Halo movie. It has an original aesthetic, and some cool tech concepts going on. But I do think the reason Hollywood's so hot on it is because of it's insane financial success, not because it'd make a great movie.

Ozy just worked hard on the article and feels like it deserves more attention than this. No harm in him seeing it that way.

@SirPrize I dunno maybe even below bargain bins. But I can see this being some crappy midnight movie that no one will come and see and then future generations will think its the shit. Then the world might end, but who knows... Lol. Where was I going with this?? Oh yeah this movie will suck.

Instigirl i agree this will probably suck, but it seems to know that nobody will take it seriously so in that way it could still be entertaining...might be hoping for too much..
