Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have spent the last eight years battling the things that go bump in the night. Over the years, and occasionally alongside the fallen angel Castiel (Misha Collins), and the King of Hell, Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard), the Winchesters have straddled the line between good and evil.

The tenth season of Supernatural will premier October 7th, 2014 on The CW.

I remember when this show first came on when I was in high school. The show is very much underrated and is one if the best shows on CW.

Supernatural ended a season 5 for me - SWAN SONG !

Bender: Love the Liar Liar gifs! Are you a netflix watcher of this show? That's how I started. My bro was watching the episode where Gordan gets turned into a vamp.

SupermanFan: Swan Song was the best episide. Had they ended it there, w/o showing Sammy at the end, that would would have ended perfectly. I'm glad it's still going though.

Plus wtf happened to Chuck? The whole episode he's dressed in his lazy robe, then at the end he's dressed in all white, and then disappears. I was hoping in season 9 they would reveal he was a construct of Metatron. That's what I thought all the story writin Metatron was doing was about.

I always figured Chuck disappeared because his role as a prophet was done, but apparently he disappeared because he was God.

Also. Swan Song was the perfect end to the series. I haven't been much of a fan of the latest seasons (doesn't stop me from watching it), because I'm hoping this final season will feature Lucifer and the ultimate showdown.. fingers crossed that we get to see Sam as Lucifer in that white suit tell Dean that they "will always end up here" now that it's 2014.

@GizmoEl That's a fan theory, but never confirmed by Kripke last I knew.

Also yes. That's why I continue to watch the show, I love it but the few past seasons have nothing on season 4 and season 5, season 8 was awesome though, i hear season 9 is too, hopefully it keeps going and we get that. Everything they've been setting up has made it seem like that's where they're eventually going.

Yonny & Gizmo: My theory was that Chuck was a construct of Metatron or was Metatron(still could be revealed to be), but since they didn't seem to go that route, idk. One theory for the end I have, is that John is revealed to be God, who became a regular man with no knowledge or powers, to experiance the life of a normal. He tried it with Jesus, but he wasn't a regular man.

As for the seasons, I've enjoyed them all, with each having acouple meh episodes. For me though, 8 was the weakest. It wasn't bad, but it was really slow going in the begining. 9 was pretty damn good too.
