Yes they kinda spoil things. But I understand the impulse to snap a pic/video if you're there while they're filming.
KilledHal9000 - 8/9/2011, 2:39 PM
...and the impulse to look at said photo/video.
spiderneil - 8/9/2011, 2:41 PM
yes! movies are being judged, details are being spoiled, pretty soon there will be no need to see the movie as everything about the movie will be redily available months before the movie hits the cinema
marvel72 - 8/9/2011, 2:42 PM
no i don't think so even if hadn't seen bane & catwoman until the trailer,i still would of disliked the look of them.
Bojac - 8/9/2011, 2:45 PM
Yes. Especially for people like me that don't want to know anything about Dark Knight Rises, and I mean anything. I don't want to see what football teams are in it, or where Batman and Bane fight. I want to legitimately be surprised by as much as possible.
HelaGood - 8/9/2011, 2:46 PM
they HELP!!! not ruin!
if the fans notice a red flag they will voice it. and the filmmakers will/should fix it.
it doesnt spoil anything! seriously... when did all of the photos/videos prevent someone from seeing the final film??? thats just silly.
croniccris - 8/9/2011, 2:50 PM
its my choice to look at articles that might ruin the movie
SigmaCenturion - 8/9/2011, 2:52 PM
i went with maybe
Danton - 8/9/2011, 2:55 PM
Yes they are, but it's our guilty pleasure to read the articles, watch the vids that may end up spoiling to much.
At least here, we should give a really fare chance to those, who doesn't want the spoilers.
amxt - 8/9/2011, 3:01 PM
Absolutely! Would Green Lantern be a better picture if I hadn't seen the photos first? Not likely. But would it have been more enjoyable.. YES, I think so. I remember seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark for the first time and I was in total AWE. I saw it three times in three weeks. Seeing something for the first time - like a beloved comic book hero in real life and using powers - does have impact.

In the meantime, we all are also modern day junkies that just want to see all this stuff as soon as possible and before the next guy does so we can say 'have you seen Bane?? ooh I have!'

...give me the days before the onslaught of the up-to-the-millisecond latest leaked photo or 'spoiler' (and news from the sites that say they have a spoiler and there is nothing new to report just a way to draw you in)...when we were lucky to have even a cast photo or the times when we couldn't wait for and then was totally blown over when you walked into your neighborhood theater to watch another movie and you see the teaser 'one sheet' hanging for the next movie you couldn't wait to see.

the awe and surprise to gone before you see the final production..and yeah, i cruz these sites looking for little tid-bits of, am i a hypocrite? maybe...and another bad thing bout the leaked photos and such is if one or two fanboys dont like the way the lantern from Green Lantern looked or met their expectations..a couple days of rants spread out thru the net can hurt a movies potential for a good box office. as word of mouth makes for good ticket sales..bad word of mouth on the net hurts as badly...

i would kinda prefer to be kept in the dark for the most part. i like it when things are officially released....but stuff thats leaked can often times misrepresent what really is happening
skidz - 8/9/2011, 3:53 PM
I think it depends on what's being shown. If it's something that shows a specific scene with dialogue, yeah I get a little annoyed and I'm glad you give warnings about those types of spoilers. Photos, on the other hand, make me curious because I wonder if that's what the finished product will look like. The photos of catwoman may not be the finished costume, maybe they will be. But now I'm curious.
comicbookjerk - 8/9/2011, 3:57 PM
Not doing a comic book movie the right way ruins comic movies
Niem8211 - 8/9/2011, 4:01 PM
That was the best this about the joker is no one knew what e looked like until the movie almost came out... Bane badass character, so far in this movie mehhh
tyson101 - 8/9/2011, 4:02 PM
we hate them but we cant stop watching them lol its like porn
billnye69 - 8/9/2011, 4:29 PM
Yes, absolutely. People go into a movie with no surprise and thus nothing is new to them and they think it's boring. I have loved all the CBMs this year because I stayed away from all the videos and pictures that come out every day.
mutangelectro - 8/9/2011, 4:55 PM
I think its time for everyone to chill out. We@re not film makers so leave it to the professionals i have my hopes for the movie but lets wait to see what nolan comes up with.

EditNinja - 8/9/2011, 5:14 PM
Just add spoiler warnings - then everybody has a choice.
Tainted87 - 8/9/2011, 5:46 PM
Spoiled in a number of ways.
I hate to say it, as obviously this site is what it is...
but some coverage is just way too much.

I don't want to see a picture of a skeletal viking holding a fake cosmic cube, only for some smartass to say: "that's not the real one - in the script, its hidden in the wall.....". You don't mean to read it, but you scroll down and wow, your eyes pick that up. Ruined that scene for me, which is a big deal, considering it was Red Skull's first appearance.

Now I know that Bane blows up a football field with an earthquake machine. I know that Miranda Tate isn't just part of Wayne Enterprises.

It's like watching a trailer that contains every single action scene in the film... it gives away too much. Not to say that the pictures and videos are that extensive, but you understand that they spoil key plot points.
Saintsinnister - 8/9/2011, 8:13 PM
I said this when they revealed who will die in TDKR. Nolan did a great job keeping joker under wraps. With this one everyday i see whats going on. Cool to see what they look like but to go as far as know the whole story? Im getting sick of the dark knight returns already. I just stay away from the news
CplAmerica - 8/9/2011, 9:38 PM
The spoilers have kept me from coming to this sight as regularly as i used to. I noticed how everyone loved the first bane photo released.... Great lighting and professional/dramatic angle. Then once these crappy paparazzi pictures come out without the context of lighting of the film everyone bags on it. It's like they took a picture of Julia Roberts sneezing on the red carpet and asked us how she looks. These pictures aren't fair to the viewers or creators.
CaseyJones1 - 8/9/2011, 10:35 PM
we all have a choice and sooner or later we see it,it meaning pics or video that's why they have trailers and sh** b4 we buy the ticket we can see how it is AND LIKE Tyson101 SAID ITS LIKE PORN
sonofsamadams - 8/9/2011, 10:37 PM was obviously created to spoil Comicbook fans. OBVIOUSLY. Because thats all I tend to see on this site is

'Oh, leaked footage! leaked footage! Click here to see it!'
Aiiwolf - 8/9/2011, 10:40 PM
@ CplAmerica

I never like Bane's Mask, He looks retarded. Give him a proper mask. I under stand they want the movie to be realistic...but they need to give him a more "origin" mask...a luchador mask would even work....just something rather than that stupid "Mortal Kombat kabal's retard bald brother look."

ANNE HATHAWAY = BAD CHOICE CATWOMAN. Now she just wont stfu about's like great wee get it...youre finally in a movie where you dont have to show your tits every 25 minutes. STFU alreadY!!
Bearjew - 8/10/2011, 2:24 PM
Has anyone even heard of Spoiler warnings? I know when I go to see a movie I don't like to know the ending before the opening credits start rolling
