A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with Hasbro and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. Joe: Retaliation. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

Starring Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, D.J. Cotrona, Bruce Willis and Ray Stevenson, G.I. Joe: Retaliation is set to hit theaters June 29th, later this year.

Just read in another article that the director Jon Chu's new nickname for The Rock is "franchise viagra". :P

This photo looks photoshoped. Looks like they (the Rock and Willis) were cut out from one picture and stuck onto anothe.

This movie looks waaaay better than the 1st. I'm actually finding myself kind of excited about it. Hope they work in the original theme song somehow.
