Curious as to How They Can Portray Such Out of This World Characters and Places? Well, Here They Are. Concept Art From the Film!

So, we've all been informed as to the makings of a Green Lantern Movie. Which, I for one, am ECSTATIC about. But with all of the sci-fi elements involved, can the crew do this film justice? Give me your take on the concept art and the character choices!

This one is an above atmosphere look down on Oa. Amazing if they can pull it off.


Here we've got the concept for the Legion Character (the one who attacked and subsequently killed Abin Sur) along with the actual comic picture.


Here we See Carroll Ferris: Hal's Boss, Lover AND Star Sapphire!


Hal Jordan's Costume Change sequence and Fully Uniformed Hal


As for the Characters involved, we're going to see: Hal Jordan (of course), Abin Sur, Sinestro, Legion, Carl and Carol Ferris, and Hector Hammond. It seems as if they're building up Sinestro in this one, so they can fully unleash him in the sequel. So the main Protagonist here is going to be Hector Hammond, who has been irradiated by a meteor and has gained Psionic abilities and IMMORTALITY!!

They've got some GREAT concepts here! I have confidence they can do this in FULL fashion! It's going to be great!

That is kick ass ION!!! If they pull it off, it very could be my very favorite comicbook movie!!! Now where are John, Guy and Kyle? Aren't they all supposed to be in that movie?

The potential is amazing for something of this caliber, surely. There SHOUDN'T be any other GL's in the movie aside from Hal, Kilowog, Sinestro, Tomar Re, Ch'p, and Guy Gardner.

How they actually manage to work them all in would be, IMO, disastrous. There would be too many people to have to try and explain about all in one movie. I just don't believe it would work.

But, from what I've learned thus far, it's only going to be Abin Sur, Hal, and Sinestro. Which is fine, it leaves part II open for Guy, John and a cadre of the other major players.

Wow.. this looks insane.. I hate to be a glass half empty kind of guy but you know.. Somehow I doubt we'll get this stuff at all. I mean GL is a great character and a founding member of the JL but are they going to put the proper moeny behind this project to do it justice? I dunno..

Reportedly it's budget is 150mil, which personally, I think is kind of low for all the special effects and crap that would be going on in this movie...So we'll have to see what happens I guess. Spectral, that would be AWESOME! G'nort always been a good character, whether he got his ring legitly or not...Justice League Antarctica...hahahaha

Legion looks cool, but other then that I'm glad they didn't use these designs.
