The first and last pictures are the best IMO.

where was all this when DnA were on it? The new Bendis stuff sucks!
KallarkKent - 6/20/2014, 3:53 PM
The one that makes a raccoon face out of weapons is pretty clever.

@KallarkKent no. no it isn't....not that it isn't cool AF. I just don't see how it's clever.

Star Lord looks bad ass

@cosmicman No kidding. Bendis has ruined this series.

At least the film has Starlord looking a little like his old self. Still, most of this art pales in comparison to the art during DnA's run.

some nice ones in there. Maleev's is definitely great, I like a few of them actually.

see if Marvel would do a quality written cartoon, maybe stylized like the first one... not as good of course, u can't afford that, but just something like that.
i guess kinda like the Batman cartoons in DCAU.

that would go so far to promoting new characters. if they would just do good stuff with animation. they have so many weird cosmic characters that it'd help to establish some basic awareness of.

i really like the first one when I think of a cartoon tho. that would be great.

@cosmicman - yeah totally. I haven't read a single issue of Bendis run that i've liked really. i can't even remember a thing that's ever happened, they're always in a spaceship and stressed out or like Iron Man, Captain Marvel or someone is there and being annoying. and then Infinity happens and then Angela is there. and then now i guess Flash Venom is gonna be there. what's been a single story on this book? Seriously it seems like nothing has ever happened. Kieron Gillen would be good for this maybe, i'd take Iron Man away from him and give him GOTG and Captain Marvel. or maybe Waid? i don't know. but Bendis should leave this title. it's bad.

oh. Too late.
CharlesLord - 6/20/2014, 10:50 PM
that captain marvel one is sick
jimoakley666 - 6/21/2014, 12:16 AM
Aw, come on, Marvel. Don't make me sick to the fuking hind teeth of GOTG before it's even come out.
LensmanMatt92 - 6/21/2014, 5:45 AM
Groot looks terrifying on the Amazing X-Men cover.
LensmanMatt92 - 6/21/2014, 5:49 AM
The only way to enjoy Bendis run on the Guardians is to forget about the previous stories.

Bandis doesn't care about the continuity and the work of other writers and he doesn't know how to write supernatural and space characters. He should stick with street level characters.
LensmanMatt92 - 6/21/2014, 5:51 AM
@dethpillow: Hickman should write GOTG! With his run on Fantastic Four and Infinity he has prooved that he can write very good space stories.
LensmanMatt92 - 6/21/2014, 5:55 AM
Bendis accepted to work on GOTG only because Marvel needed a big name on the comic in order to advertise the movie.
LensmanMatt92 - 6/21/2014, 5:56 AM
I think he will drop the book when the movie comes out.
